Worst lager in England?

Bwah?!?!? This is physically possible?!?!?!?!?

The rest of the world gets buy on it. Discounting lager as a whole means you are discounting almost everything brewed in Germany and they know a thing or two about brewing.

My current favourite is Windhoek Export from Namibia. It's lovely stuff.

Worst lager? There are too many to mention but that doesn't mean they are all bad.

Can you even still buy this in the U.K.? I've not seen it in ages...

Had to google that, InBev brewed it under license over here till June 2009 when they noticed it was one of the biggest abominations in human history and did us all a favour by not making it any more.

Worse still it was 4.8% in Australia when only 3/7% over here...

This is the best news I've heard in ages.

Ah, a fellow Waitrose shopper :p

Carling is probably the worst, closely followed by Fosters. I'm pretty inured to Tennents these days though.

Carling or Fosters. I would rather go without than drink those two. I don't drink much beer full stop but those two are guaranteed to make me feel rubbish after 2/3 pint.

Usually drink ale or continental lager if I am on the sauce. There are literally hundreds of top quality ales and lagers in every city if you look for the right pubs. I would rather pay them a little more for something genuinely tasty.

I'm only 17 so I have hardly any experience with nice lagers. I only ever get hold of stuff from Asda so thats not going to be exotic! Once im old enough I will try some weird stuff and branch out a bit. Im a fan of Corona though, Becks is nice too. :)

Tesco value stuff would probably take the worst position. It's 2% iirc as well, utterly pointless.

I do like some lagers though. Nice and refreshing in the summer after a hard days work.

Carling, can't stand it.

I am more of a bitter (pub) or ale (home) drinker but like the occasional lager. But Carling is just foul.
