Worth paying more for an Audi over a Skoda?

I'm just too picky - but slim pickings for replacement -
3 series estate 320i or bigger petrol engine, manual, rwd(no real need for X or lost economy+reliability), non-M(or M w/adaptive) with 18" wheels for broken local roads - nice to have pan roof, real leather,
If packs are for free, fine, otherwise : HK audio (would prefer to afterfit with a dspamp, guess existing alpine won't fit time eq/parametric eq). : HU display, verbal navigation where I need it is fine polarized glasses .
upgraded headlights/matrix : full beam will be the same and if you are following someone on a country road well they show you profile remote access. remote access : with relay theft.

sunset orange for bonus points, neighbour has an x1 in it - someone had a 3 tourer in that colour about half way down milton road cambs - will have to make them an offer.

other cars considering megane tourer, , honda civic (w/hatch they're pretty big), golf estate 1.4 - trying to avoid the gucci belt club.

No wonder you've not found anything then - your list of requirements is virtually impossible.

You can't get a petrol 3 Series estate with a manual gearbox and you've not been able to since the current car was introduced in 2019. It was only available as a diesel and then by the end of 2020 the manual gearbox option was removed entirely.

So, it seems like what you want doesn't actually exist - which is why you're still looking...

... so I'll have to accept an automatic gearbox - one of the most important options gone in the name of cost saving/climate/(people require intimacy with their touch screen) ?
- maybe time for an electric future, taking that to the the limit
e: or, perhaps ioniq 5N simulated gearbox isn't such a bad idea, guess you can drop(jump down) multiple gears quickly

Jonny can JLR provide the answer to my/anyones prayers ?

e2: reading reddit thread about manual demise on M3
like That sucks the manual is the better of the cars. Now days it acts as an anti theft device as well
The roads would be a much safer place with more manuals

in the name of "it's not a Lotus Exige, it's an exec saloon so an automatic gearbox is infinitely more suitable for the type of car and so few people actually want a manual box in one it's not really worth producing"

Theres only one estate and unfortunatley 6 cylinder engines dont come with the facelifted interior. - so no.

Thats about the only thing ive quickly spotted. HUD and Matrix will be rare as its been Rona-19'd.

If theres a myriad of extras and addons that you're after then a new car is your best option.

If not yer gonna have to make yer choice of just what someone else has chosen

Even finding a nearly new Skoda or Mazda with a towbar seems hard lol

so have you found a volvo replacement yet ?

(battery warranties aside) - interesting plus for the skoda phev estate over a 330e estate, 300kg extra for the 330e, so its 300bhp gets round a track slower than 200hp octavia -
maybe not as luxuriously, but still - need power to weight ratio as a criteria in AT

And yet even now VW keep putting the damp thing in everything lol
To be somewhat fair.

I think I have the Evo1 engine…My fault for not doing enough research and confirming this before I purchased.
And stupidly thinking newer engine = better than the solid 1.4s that came before or at least on the same level.

Engine code DADA.

A friend of mine has the Skoda Octavia which I would assume is the Evo2 or later (if exists) as it’s a 23/24 plate if not mistaken.

And went from a diesel to petrol and has no issues with performance or fuel.

Where as my Evo1? I’d wouldn’t mind if it completely seized up and died at this point.
