Would you go to a theme park on your own?

How much do you care what other people that you will never ever see again think of you?

I used the women's toilet in Copenhagen train station by accident and only realised when I was coming out of the cubicle.

I still worry what those women must have thought of me, even though I'll never see them again.

Do it, you can wander around at your own pace, just do what you want to do - only drawback is if you get caught in any long queues solo, might be a bit tedious.

Also not sure if we have solo rider queues here which are shorter, I know in the US it's a big thing.

Actually come to think of it, i recall most of the rides in Alton Towers are general or fast track. You might only get solo queues nearer the front when things split off for front carriage vs other carriages.

I probably wouldn't but only because I enjoy sharing that moment with friends. Though I've been and go to the cinema by myself or eat out at restaurants by myself without a care in the world.

If it's something you really want to do, do it.

I did that once but I was in primary school! I remember thinking it was odd there was a urinal and just went in a cubicle. On exit I saw my mistake. :p

I went while I was away in USA. It wasn't as good I have to say. Wouldn't go on my own again.

I probably would. I love Alton Towers but haven't been for a few years. It's a hassle trying to get friends/family to go that are both free when I am and enjoy going on rollercoasters. I have however, got my missus's brother to agree to come with me for Scarefest this year! The last time I went, I managed to convince my 75 year old dad to come with me as he hadn't been since '94 when Nemesis first opened and he still loved it.

If you collect the photo at the end of the ride and it looks like a Crimewatch photo fit, you have your answer.

Nothing wrong with, I would go to as many theme parks as possible if I could (47 year oldie), as no one on my family is able or likes them. Sadly, time (mostly) and money prevents such a hobby.

Yer, absolutely. I normally go with the family, but I may as well have been on my own for the past decade.

Fortunately, my son is now old enough to go on the faster rides with me, but before that it was doing the rides on my own, or doing the tea-cups endlessly.

Also, going solo - some rides there's a single rider queue which is much quicker.
