The US alone against an alliance of China and Russia stands no chance. Actually, it doesn't against Russia on its own, too.
But in case of full scale nuclear operations, there won't be any soldiers involved - you'll be looking at whole countries removed from the face of the Planet.
The US Military is funded and set up specifically to be able to fight against Russian and China at the same time and win, it's part of their mantra, like the Royal Navy used to be so powerful that if the 10 navies below them ganged up, we could still win.
I believe you slightly exaggerate the RN as the quote used to be that they wanted to be #1 and more than #2 & #3 combined![]()
Yeah my bad, it's called the two-power standard and indeed was supposed to be bigger than #2 and #3 combined
the guy probably gets more credit than he's do though.and weren't we all damn lucky some common sense prevailed...
You mean "credit than he's DUE"
But 5 missiles detected and him applying common sense IS the point... Common sense that a computer couldn't apply (at that time)
Pushing the button is the easy part. The aftermath would be hell, if you survived. No more netflix and Friends eps!!, what kind of hell is this good night etc.

Should make Threads & The War Game compulsory viewing.. would help people develop some common sense
They're the only ones with big arsenal's?
Except that France has more nuclear warheads than China so why weren't they in the mix. Also the UK only has slightly less than China.
