WOW @ the space station & shuttle.

I was out but didn't know the times so didn't know when/where to look.

In other news, one of the shuttle astronauts is ill. Don't even ask who/what/where/when or you'll get your head gnawed off. An entire room full of reporters tried to pry any information at all (beyond what's in this post) out of an official and got precisely nothing.

Not that I have any problem with medical privacy. :)

Also, one of the shuttle's computers has done the 80s equivalent of a BSOD.

Edit - cold/sore throat I suspect, though I couldn't tell which Astronaut a particular comment was directed at from the video I just saw (best guess seems to be that it's Hans Schlegel who is ill).

Meant to be very clear tonight so should be easy to see. Friday was still the best night as to see the shuttle chasing it was awesome, but unfortunately it has docked now.

same time, same place??

is there still chance then tonight, looks like its going to be a good day without too much cloud

Check here :)

Just a little info re that link. The magnituse is how bright it is, the higher the - number the brighter, last night it was a mag -2.1 iirc. The starts column is roughly what time it will appear, in what direction (in this case West) Max alititude column is the time when it is highest in the sky from your observation position, the direction again (SSW) and at an altitude of 37degrees, and the final column is when it should dissapear from view and once more the direction (SE).

Here is a quick guide to viewing.

It's also worth looking out for Iridium Flares, which you can see the times of on heavens-above.

I saw one the other night, -8 magnitude, but missed one last night, i just couldn't see it

I can see the Iriduim Satelites quite often.. Just look up in total darkness when ever you can and you will see them moving across the night sky...:)
