Great. What's the desktop software like? Guess anything is an improvement over iTunes.

I'm sure I saw recently that they were doing a free credit for anyone buying a lumia to use on the app store Edit FOUND IT

It wasn't there before 8.1, because i was always pressing the download images in every email. One feature i really find useful

Facebook will get an update in June.

They're working on a major update for skype. Mainly performance related.

Xbox music is on rapid development, so an update will be released every two weeks.

Just updated to 8.1 last night on my HTC 8X. Works great and feels like a brand new phone. Everything looks better too. Very happy I updated!! Data sense is working.
 
If I put the developer version on my phone when I get it Tuesday. Will I just be able to get the proper version when it comes out without a load of faff?

Probably. I had no issues going from the previous developer preview to the proper release.
 
No, or at least I have not seen a log anywhere for it.

Joe just posted their was an update via twitter, installing mine now.

Was over in Florida the other week, looks like I'll certainly pick up a Lumia 930 this August while in Vegas as that SHOULD be the international version. SIM Free the WP8.1 phones come in @ $599 which is pretty good indeed.

Still enjoying WP8.1 and I will be interested to see the battery improvements as I have to say I've noticed it running down slightly quicker.

Can you get the 930 in US or is it just the icon. Is there an actual difference?
 
Since the latest update, off charger for 6 hours now, 20% down with light to moderate use (emails, music, BT, WiFi turned on but not connected, on 3G+ with at least 3 apps regularly updating in background + Cortana.)

Battery status claims 14 hours left. Compared to before when I get off charge, I get 15 hours left only. Lets see how it goes over the next few days...
 
My phone is stuck on a blue screen saying failed to initialise and i cant seem to power it off? This happened when it wanted to update this morning. Any ideas or is my phone bricked?

lumia 1520.

Volume up and power has let me reset it, crisis possibly averted :P

SO you are aware the screen sensitivity fix is coming in the Cyan update from Nokia soon for the 1520 as well.
 
My phone updated this morning. I just wonder is there anyway to see what changes an update brings? Is there a change log on any website anywhere?

Battery life is getting back to norm now :)
 
Just discovered a cool Cortana thing, if you are writing a text and you text, "ill see you tomorrow at 9", it comes up with a line underneath it, tap on it and it will take you to Cortana that can automatically set up a reminder for you.
