WWE's Chris Beniot & family found dead.

This is a sad, sad story. My thoughts go out to family and friends and for the lives that are lost.

We don't know all the facts, and we never will. It's a crying shame that this will all just be put down to 'roid rage' and we will never know what happened over that weekend.

My opinion is no, of course Benoit didn't kill his family and then himself over a two day period due to the taking of steroids. You could raid the Benoit house any time in the last 10 years and I'm sure you would find exactly the same substances. Benoit was a seasoned professional, and i believe that something has happened here that we will never know.

But believe me, this WILL be put down to 'roid rage' because it's exactly what the public want to hear, and it's what they can easily accept.

OK, seemed to have misunderstood. So we're all saying he was mental now?
No, we're saying that there's a possibility that he was having an episode, wasn't quite himself, whatever.

I do disagree with the "Guilty, Sane or not" comment. If there is any element of mental illness, then it is diminished responsibility. Fair enough, it is suggested he committed the act, but he may not have been in complete control of his senses when he did it.
He put himself and his family in danger due to the substances he was taking. If a scag head murdered a family would you have a different view of it?

The placing of bible implies ritualistic, thus suggesting he wasnt quite all there when he did this...
I don't see where that comes from.

By saying you thought that there was more to this and saying "a sane man doesn't do this..." you implied that you didn't believe he was responsible and you believed he was sane, and now you are saying you think he had a mental episode? Make your mind up pmsl. Maybe it's difficult for people to grasp because your points are so incoherent and make no sense.

I have said from my very first post that I dont think he was responsible for his actions, and that I was using the 'sane men do do this type of thing' to highlight the very fact that some sort of mentla health issue happened here. Does that makes sense ? pmsl...

Agreed, then why are some people making very spiteful and quite frankly insensitive comment about what a weirdo he was and hopefully he's gone to hell? If he was mentally ill, he would not have been in control. I am not a Chris Benoit fan, I just think people are destroying a well known man before all the facts emerge

I agree, he put his family in danger. If a scag head murdered his whole family I would be horrified, but generally there arent mental health issues associated with scagheads, they tend to kill to get money for a fix, not because theyre ill.

It came from what my wife told me this morning. She works with mental health and young offenders. The bible, or any other religious symbol is seen as ritualistic if placed by a body after or used during a murder. Its like redemption. A clearing of the soul, a religious item to the perpetrator means theyll still goto Heaven. Sort of.

Why edit the comments out? Its like youre angry with me? Is it because I dont agree with you?

Comments are usually edited out when they realise they were talking tripe and the comments were either abusing and wanting to avoid a ban, conflicting his previous posts, and wanted them removed before they were seen so people didn't attack him.

Don't think I've ever edited anything out of my own posts for that reason.

More I've admitted defeat in making someone see sense ;)

No personal attacks - Gilly I'm not scared of being attacked on the internet. I edited my comment because I couldn't be bothered to argue with someone that defends a family-killer.

Don't remember too many people feeling sorry for that kid a few months ago who went all gun ho whup ass on his college friends. He was clearly ill, yet didnt get anywhere near the sympathy of this killer wrestler.

Oh well what can you expect from people who think this panto is a sport.

Very sad for the poor kid and wife. :(

Did the kid in the college entertain thousands of people every week or so?

When did I say say that what Benoit did was justified or defended him? I never said that mate. I said I thought he was having a mental episode.

Resorting to name calling just makes you look silly, and I think it concedes defeat cause youre out of your league...
