WWIIO: Battleground Europe

So say I wanted to go firebomb Dresden, can I do it alone or does there need to be a player for every position on the plane - Pilot, navigator bombardier etc or can I do it with just me?

Either or, most people do it alone and switch between positions. There is level flying autopilot for when bombing and it remembers the last input of the joystick so if you want to slowly turn in a direction while using the rear MG you can. Multi-crewing is some of the most fun you'll have in game though if you get a good guy on team speak to do it with you.

Both sides have a dedicated TS channel with a HC room and a room for each bde (generally each squad belongs to a particular bde so they hang out in there).

I play most days when time allows. Be careful though as there are days where I'll throw it on in the morning just before breakfast then suddenly it'll be 6pm and my stomach will clench so hard from not having food that I almost fall off the chair =/

For all people who are going to give it a try - Its an amazing game, one of the best ever imo, but it does have a very steep learning curve. You need to stick with it a bit, but as soon as you learn how it works you will have the best gaming experience of your life :)

I assume it's only actual CC's that are accepted as payments?

If so, I can't sign up. Only have a debit card. :(

I'm in the same boat - I pay my subscription via paypal.

As a side note, I've now got the game working at uni.. So I shall see you all in the fields of Europe. Im Rarekind in KGW, Axis, if you ever see me about.

I thought they accepted debit cards, might just be american ones. Not sure about that. Try and find a friend who doesn't mind letting you use their CC. I'm using my gfs atm.

Don't worry about giving CC details, they've never had an privacy issues with them and they are by far the closest dev team to the community I've ever come across. They spend more time browsing the forums then making the game which might explain why it's so far behind the times graphically ;)

Glad to see so many people are coming in. To those that are trying out the trial account I can meet you in game on the allied side to give you a quick walk through of the basics and introduce you to a good attack/defend mission and if we're lucky a para drop or two. Any interested in flying I can give some tips on that too afterwards.

If you're around this evening I should be around, just give me a time and I'll meet you on there. In game message my by typing:

.m Darg <message> into the message bar. Just hit enter to activate it.

Same stands for me on the Axis side, if anybody wants a little help getting to grips with the game and getting started.

.m rarekind <message>

Will be glad to help, the more the merrier :)
