WWIIO: Battleground Europe

Well hopefully battleground won't be going away anytime soon. All they need is a player base boost to get a bit of extra income and they can start the serious work that's needed on the game. With unity 2 coming by the end of the year the better graphics will hopefully bring a lot of new players next year.
 
Guys, if you have not already you have got to give the trial a go. I've been looking for something new and dare I say 'grown up'! At first with this I was thinking horrid graphics and boring as hell but as I'm the patient type I gave it a chance and I am now prepared to declare this as the greatest game on Earth bar none!

kills are very hard to come by but the buzz you get from getting one is great as you work sooo bloody hard for it. My best streak is 3 and I've had about 25 kills in 7 days which my squad tell me is very good for a noob armed only with a rifle and I'm nearly at lvl 3 as army soldier and will then get to play with some new toys (I'm not tellin how many deaths I have though!).

I was invited after about 3 days to join a squad called 40commando, I'm so glad I did as they are super helpful and fun to boot. Joining the squad has really benefited me and if you can I would suggest you find one (I'm sure you will be welcome in 40commando, I think 1 or 2 of the guys may even post on here?).

Seriously fellas I'm one fussy dude when it comes to games and I can't believe I have never discovered this before now. If anyone would like to message me in game, well i'm yozz76 ofcourse.
 
Been playin this for over two years.

Main thing is to get into a squad, I spent 6 months on my own just flying then joined 40 Commando and now play mainly infantry (I suck in a tank).

But you play infantry, for example Im currently 500m away from a forward (fire) base, killing 88s as they try to set up on a ridge over looking a French town.

Then very easily you can do some low level bombing runs or join the "RDP" factory bombing offensive. Very well organised strategic bombing runs, often involving 10-20 bombers with fighter support.

Then you can join a tank column or take part in a para drop....list goes on.

And finally ignore the gfx, they are planning a major overhall though.

Axis have more tanks but allies have more fun ;)
