I didn't change any of my steam settings, as some ppl suggested. Very unlikly they will ban an account just for using vpn to connect. Buying games that way...that is different story.

1. Close steam
2. Launch VPN, connect to an Australian server
3. Launch Steam
4. Unpack game
5. Launch game
6. Close VPN
7. Change your Steam password if you want

Yay got in.
First thing I noticed is how much an improvement the graphics are over the previous one, it looks pretty good. You can definitely tell theres no console port on their minds this time

not that much about 15-20% perf between no AA and 2xMSAA from some quick testing i done there.To be fair msaa is a really demanding feature.

On battles with MSAA 8x is med-high fps, but when you see the solders at close up in campaign mode (eg Armoury), the fps goes down the floor on an overclocked Nano at 1100 core!!!
Looks like a bug in there. However MSAA 2x everything is fine. Freesync kicks in and game looks smooth.
But consider this MSAA 2x is 2560x1440x2 is just shy of the 4K resolution grunt power needs. And we all know how taxing that is.
Anything more and you are better off running a 4K monitor.....

Preloaded. Not going to bother with an early unlock, will save it for Saturday since I'm out tomorrow. Really looking forward to a good session without having to worry about getting up for work the following day
Same for me. Everything runs fine apart from when you turn 8x MSAA on and then you get mega slowdowns in certain situations. Using a 780 at 1080.
Overall the game looks good though, much better than the previous one. All the nasty colour banding, awful fogging and washed out colours are gone. The youtube videos don't do it justice.

Could someone point to a free VPN to use this with?
I used to use one that was handy for most of the Asian area, but that was a few years back and ive no idea what i was called.
Was going to just wait, but i wouldnt say no to 2-3hrs head start on it, i'll be up till 8am so not short of time.
