X-Factor 2011

What the hell did the stylist do to Amelia between judges houses and the live show. Madness.

Agreed, her style before hand was far, far better. It suited her, it was natural and she looked good. They just completely ruined her. In fact the styling this year on just about all contestants has been dreadful!

I have similar opinions which I try to suppress so I can continue watching with the masses!. I wonder about the long lasting emotional scars some of these kids have after being put through hell for our viewing entertainment. Sure they know what's involved before they enter, but I'd bet the reality of having your dreams smashed in front of millions and a mic rammed into your face while trying to understand what's just happened to you must be pretty tough going.

I spend most of the show shouting out (in a scouse accent to sound more effective) "But it's me life, it's all I eva wanted to do".
I don't feel sorry for them at all unless they have trod the boards for a decade or two.
Johnjo (woteva) the soldier was on morning TV basically saying how gutted he was and when asked about his musical past he declared that 'He'd done a bit of karaoke'.
Give me a break.
How many more times are we going to hear 'But it's me last chance'?.
I love the show but it's full of delusional people.

I'm soft - I just want to get up there, give them a hug and let them know everything is going to be alright. Which of course it isn't.

Exactly.

I look at XFactor as a long job interview process. Just like The Apprentice.

If you get the job...good for you. But if you don't make it through the selection process, move on to something else.

When they cry, they act as if somebody has died. What they are really crying about is the potential loss of fame/money/celebrity.

These people should be thankful that they have had their 15 minutes of fame. Most people don't even get that.

I would dispute that generalisation. Show some empathy man! Where's the humanity damn it!! :p

I feel really bad for some of those contestants. I need to man up :o

Feeling bad is one thing. But to cry like a baby is extreme.

I have absolutely no sympathy for the cry babies, who are basically attempting to get a sympathy vote. It wouldn't surprise me if the makers of the show encourage the contestants to show some emotion.

It's got the point where I don't actually believe that the tears are sincere.

In one of the episodes, the sob story was that he lived in rented accommodation and on this basis, he NEEDS to win the XFactor. I honestly couldn't believe how low the producers of the show have sunk.

Holy **** they've just destroyed that song and its a brilliant song! The vocals and the music remix is terrible. U2 must have got a ton for that!

Kelly and tulisa talking garp! Anyone know what that tattoo says on tulisas forearm says? She shows it at start of every show when coming on stage?
