You're right, unfortunately. The judges' comments are becoming laughable, which makes it worse. Some constructive criticism might actually do some good and make the show better! Particularly if they'd tell Janet to steer clear of her lowest register. I'm a big fan of her potential and voice when it's on form, but she has been consistently terrible on the low notes (not surprising for such a young girl!), so why choose a song and (poor) arrangement which puts her down there so much? <shudder>

I can't help but feel she's getting some lousy advice. But then that's true of of them all. I wish they'd spend less time trying to turn these people into acts rather than better singers. But then the show has to come first, and we'd have nothing to talk about if they did a better job. :->
 
Awful awful awful.

As much as Kitty annoys me, she's probably been the most consistent singer of the lot.

The Risk are dire now (I liked them before), Janet was a joke, Frankie needs to be put down, Misha was crap, Johnny was ok (for the first time ever), Sophie was ok, Little Mix were good, Marcus was lame, and Craig is boring.

Worst. Year. Ever.
 
For me the overall scoring for performance, song choice and singing ability went like this:

Little Mix : 10 (I couldn't fault anything)
Kitty : 9
Micha :9
Marcus : 4
Janet : 4
Craig : 3
Johnny : 2
The Risk : 1
Sophie : 0
Frankie : 0

I laughed when Tulisa told Janet her eyes looked like she was fighting but I thought she looked frightened.
 
I was watching it alst night with the missus.

That Sophie woman was complete gash! She barely hit a note and was just generally god awful, old bloke (can never remember his name) got it right saying she sounded like a seccy who just sung at weekends. But then according to the missus every week they say she is great :confused:

Most of them are god awful and talentless! Only decent ones are old gay bloke, Kitty, the young girl band and Misha person. Even them lot are only decent and not really anything special.

This is the first year I have watched more than 1 episode so I have to ask, is this the general standard every year or are they just **** this year?

Well last night Barlow said they were all so good this year that it was very hard to call.
You need to watch the Aussie version because they are way better.
