James Arthur was bloody awful last night. Was hoping he would be half decent but he was really....really terrible.

The song choices were TERRIBLE tonight, seriously bad, everyone looked uncomfortable. The only two acts I loved were Lucy Spraggan and James Arthus. I would buy both their albums tommorrow, her for being an amazing songwriter, and him because his voice just ticks all my boxes..



That was car crash TV. And credit to Gary for not pulling any punches with his criticism on live TV, he was right on the money and the only thing he didn't say was "It was a cynical marketing ploy and you know it", but he did the next best thing.

Entertaining show though, and i love how Louis got slated for his appalling song choice for that boy band, he really is stuck in the 90's.

The problem is always the same in the first show.

These are people who are having a bit of a sing on telly, they have only ever for the most part, sung along to the original songs they are being asked to sing.

Choosing crap songs then changing the arrangement is NEVER going to do an amateur performer any favours especially when the new arrangement is seemingly random.

The 4 piece boyband were terrible in that they just couldnt sing full stop.

That Ryland fella, even though he doesnt have a great deal of talent was sold completely down the river with his song.

Rylan was "really terrible". James Arthur was at worst decent.

he's just sang and it was like amateur eurovision.

Oh my goodness grief Louis is absolutely pathetic. In fact, pathetic is a kindness for this little cretin. He's a doddery old fool who never left the 90's. Why is he still a judge on this program?

Rylan is nothing more than cynical marketing, the judges barely hide it, and we know all know this.

Anyone seen the guy talking to Louis at the end of her performance, wouldn't surprise me if they told him what to vote, as it was obvious it was coming down to his decision
 
That was a setup surely!
After being prompted numerous times about who he wanted to send home, he said he wanted to save Carolynne twice, then decided deadlock.
