X-Wing

I found it quite hard to get my head round at first. Just seems so clunky and counter intuitive but quite enjoy it now despite only having a couple of games as it should let me test builds etc when i cant play elsewhere.

Wow, never heard of this Vassal before, awesome, I've been wanting to play Divine Right again for years. Still, can't replace the feeling of a nice boardgame :)

Just got my first x wing bits.

So played my first proper game against my friend who flew TIE swarm. He did an excellent job of flying in formation and myself being a rookie ended up putting the Falcon within the path of the swarm. 2 turns of shooting and it was dead - his rolling was really hot too. I did manage to take a couple of TIE out but it was too late at that point. Need to play some more to get more experienced.

Question:
These models im guessing that they are plastic and not die cast?

Are they any good as collectors pieces (quality-wise) for people who love Star Wars but dont have the game?

Qualitywise I think these are superb. They are plastic admittedly, but they are just lovely.

It has two cards - one for th front and one for the rear, costing 50 & 40 points respectively. Not sure you can take just one half of it though. :p

Ah I see.

Presumably are these used with different points rules or something. Otherwise... 100 points kinda encompases the Tantive 4 no?
