Did you say ssaa is disabled in your game as i had it on today to try and worked ok. Was in borderless fullscreen if that matters.

On HF1 they removed it from the options. So using 4K VSR now which is great. :D

I have no ideas how much time it took me to do hit & runs to draw the rattlesnake support fleet, but managed to complete the mission.
Some ZYA police in 3 quad Dragons showed up twice so grabbed a dragon per squad. Not bad. With my second dragon we attacked the rattlesnake which we took down. Then boarded the 3rd dragon that was sitting there. Need to figure out now to whom I give the "reward" to continue the FRF campaign.

In the mean time the Dragons getting refitted, repaired and waiting their new crews to arrive.
I do not attack the ZYA Police as they fight XEN also, but when I cannot escape getting out of stations need to fight. Now they started putting laser towers outside every FRF station to stop me from getting to travel mode -_-

So I am enjoying the game but am at a very frustrating point.

I’ve got an auto mining ship that is full of Silicon but it doesn’t want to go sell it. I went into the next system and found a Silicon Refinery and stuck a satellite next to that but still no joy. I’ve finally managed to get the ship to come dock where I am so I can fly the mi er to the refinery to sell the Silicon but I’ve no idea what’s going to happen when I start again.

All the YouTube videos show a more options control interface for setting up auto mining which includes distance for miner to roam to sell but that’s not showing in my game. I assume they’ve changed the interface.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I’ll be very grateful as right now I want to grow hair so I can pull it out.

If you set a ship to sector automine on sector A which has Silicon but NOT Silicon orders, it won't move to sector B where there is Silicon need.
That only happens, when the pilot has avg skill 2, and the selecting the one option bellow the Sector Automine. There you can select various items to mine and the range that will deliver the goods.
If you want to mine for the refinery on sector B, you need to send the ship to that sector and then set it to Automine on Sector B. If there is no Silicon in this sector, it will move to sector A to mine.

This.

Just find a sector that has a load of silicon refineries and mineral fields and set that sector as its home sector when setting up auto one.

Cheers. I’ve finally managed to convince the pilot to take the ship to the Silicon refinery and once there I’ll set her up again.

What the best way to take out these K9 destroyers?

In my game the are wrecking the ZYA, 3 systems now and they are sweeping through.

Surprisingly Osprey Vanguard. Of all M size ships in game I have tried, but the Cobra, is the only ship it's shield can take the punishment, squeeze itself in position behind the engines and above the shields and blast the damn things without taking hull damage while is agile to move around.

Btw to those new here, when you buy M size miners & freighters, get them with Combat MK3 engines & thrusters. Especially the engines matter because of the cut off time period to get to cruise speed.
