Xbox 360 SSF4 LEAGUE -Season 3-

Personally, i think any medium or light attack is best, as it gives you enough time to close in on Dhalsim.
I've never really tried using fierce to punish teleports, but it seems tough since it's slow. I prefer dp, but i often get hit by Omh's Sim before dp comes out.


Does anyone have any tips on what i'm doing right/wrong against Omh's Sim? We've played enough where it's past the point of getting used to playstyles, and i'm still losing MUCH more than i win.

It's the main reason i've been able to go from 2000 to 4000BP with my Chun since i started playing you guys

hes very tricky, hes an attacking sim which is odd as all the rest camp like crazy. i guess its all about getting close to him and then doing as much damage as possible, mixing it up, few jabs, few throws, cross up tatsus, hadokens. i have to say, omh lets u get in a lot easier than other sims i play which keep running away ( thats a compliment for him btw - he doesnt run away and still wins most of the time), distorteds ryu plays him quite well. i think kens and akumas are generally very good against sims because of kens fast recovery and akumas sheer variety of moves.

depends wot character ur going to use, u were on fire yesterday with soo many characters:)

There's another ryu called micronukex I play sometimes, he's very good. 9pm guys if u can make it will be fun. I'm training hakan now. If my hakan beats any of u, ur getting taunted and maybe even booted from lobby, blocked on xbl and a complaint filed against u:D:D:D

He's from pakistan if I'm not mistaken, good player.

Have you played DoomDomain? He is a good ryu. The best I have played along with Ryan Hart. I have beaten Doomdomain once in our 3 games.
 
Lol pakistan. No wonder the connection was so poor. Omh I was very impressed the way u kept doing ultra, then unlocking the opponents block, aint seen that too much. Yep I playd doomdomain I mustv lost, but have to say a lot of ppl r surprisingly unfamilar with the akuma matchup

Didnt know bout their ssf4 skills, im pakistani myself, cricketers are excellent a shame most of them are corrupt, lol imagine if in the evo final u got daigo vs some pakistani dude and he takes a bribe and loses on purpose :eek::D

Have you ever been to any SF tournaments down there? I'm from Manchester btw.

Anyway this league should be wrapped up by next week. If you have some mates who wanna sign up for the next one, tell them to register on the forums ASAP! I did send meansfgamer a message but told him to ask you for details. I will be using a new program for the next league which took me weeks to put together and will make things MUCH easier! :) Oh and Art helped me out with it just a bit, thanks Art :p ;)

I'd like to say IYO's sim is better but one can only achieve a true state of zen once one has received a cr.hp xx super from full screen, so maybe sabin's got the edge.
 
Oh yeh sabin got a crouch hp into super by daigo recently, he got completely caned in that match, think it was team usa vs teamworld - momochi was awesome in that tournie made me start using ken. A while back Iyo got a dp into super. That yhc mochi is solid

cr.hp xx super full screen is tasty. I've tried cancelling into super a few times against OMH when I've hit his limbs but have never landed it because I suck.

DrSK - OMH's Sim beats me the vast majority of times. You need to try and stay patient and look for opportunities to get in Sim's face and relentlessly attack and pressure (something you do very well). Safe jump option select hard kick tatsu (at least using Ryu) is good for catching back teleport and back dashes. Try not to let OMH think he can rush you down and dominate so pick a spot to reversal dp to let him know that is a no no.

Never been to any events I know there are weekly ones in trocadero central London and some in Harrow, might go if I have time. Will get some guys to sign up, meansfgamer included.

Btw when more ppl join, u gonna do the same league style or knockout?
