Maybe because most stuff is still in SD?

 - Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek 3, Ratatouille, Superbad and Chuck and Larry...all 720p/1080p

Define "most stuff"

As in the majority of films and Tv shows from the last 20/30 years
Not everyone is watching newly released/re-released HD content

Nearly every film ever made was filmed in "Hi-Def".

They should be though - I think most folk have HD ready TV sets now, and an xbox sitting under it, meaning they can watch HD if they want. Add something like a HomePlug (network over power device) and you've got all you need! After watching a lot of stuff in HD it's difficult for me to watch SD stuff on a big telly again

Holy Sweepingstatement Batman!
I haven't got HD, my brother hasn't got HD (both 360 owners) and a lot of my other friends haven't. Unfortunately, a lot of people (working before anyone says anything) don't have the money for HD
