No not at all, I do find it amusing seeing people trying to impose their opinions on others as to which version looks better. The disbelief is odd, as I can completely understand why some prefer the super contrast look.

Please tell me you don't prefer the worse textures, lighting etc of the XO version?

To people who prefer the high contrast, over sharpened and crushed blacks of the XO captures on digital foundry it makes me wonder what your TV's are set to in regards to sharpness and contrast, maxed out on both?

Also ambient occlusion will be in the XO build at release, will this tank the framerate even more?

No, it doesn't :p at least I don't think so... I prefer the look of the XO version (jaggies included) and I'm primarily sticking with the PS4 from the start (was going to get both at launch originally but I cancelled it to get a Wii U).

Yeah but it's actually better on the PS4 but the footage isn't accurate as they messed up the calibration of the capture thingy and are very, very sorry that they made the PS4 look worse than it actually is becuase it's way better than that...

Or something.

It depends what you call 'over sharpened' ? In the examples around it -is- a little too sharp, but on the other hand I find the PS4 shots massively too smooth too - its like someone's smothered my screen in KY Jelly.
 
DF's images do make me curious because no other site seems to have the problems that they're showing the X1 to be having... will wait till final builds come along for a better comparison.

edit: although other posts I guess confirms it... I am seriously too slow today xD
 
I'm getting both consoles and will get the exclusives on each and any multi platform ones on whichever either is the better version, or if there isn't much in it it will be down to which pad I prefer the most - hoping I like the DS4 as much as others as I always hated the previous ones, although I liked the original non DS PS pad.

Expensive month ahead! I have cancelled Ghosts for now as it isn't looking very good, decided to get Battlefield instead although I haven't decided which platform yet as they both currently look good, I may have to wait until after both are released as until both are here I won't know which pad I prefer.

And just ordered Dead Rising 3 as well, that is now looking very nice :) now I just need time to play all the games...

No blurryness on PS4 version, No messed up contrast on the XB1 version.

Only difference is slightly more jaggies on XB1 judging from this.

Great video. A few rougher edges, and more shimmering on distant objects for the X1, apart from that to all intents and purposes, they look identical to me?

If this is the "disaster" for MS that NeoGAf posters would have you believe, then lol...

No it's more fun in here and no drama in the other. Xbox fans rampantly defending their beloved "inferior" Xbox with Sony fans crying publicly due to the fact Xbox fans cant see/wont admit that they see what they are seeing. Still got a month of this to go and further drama with COD comparisons to come.

That the best I have seen from both yea the xBO looks a little more Jaggy, but the texture to me by a small amount, look actually sharper, its like with the PS3 they have "blurred" things a bit to make it look like they use AA.
 
That IGN comparison is a load of rubbish tbh.

Firstly its compressed tinterwebs video and secondly it looks like the camera on the PS4 isn't focussed properly anyhow!

How you guys can tell the difference is beyond me at this moment.

They are both on the same yard stick though, so its even stevens for how they are both treated.
