Possibly... although I'm led to believe that the general feeling is more towards increasing demand.

Either way the very large place I work for has just a few hundred XB1's compared to a few thousand PS4's for next week.

Wouldnt damage it any further but i dont think it would solve your issue mate, seems like the fan is faulty so needs a new one.

Good to hear that Amazon are giving you a refund though, just dont open it and void the warranty as they will probably charge you again lol.

Sounds like rubbish, especially as they reduced the launch countries to ensure they had stock...

Grrrr im so tired from 3 hrs of sleep last night but i just want to get home and get on the xbox one and play some more Forza 5...another hr or so and i can dash home, just hope i dont get any traffic when i leave as its a friday :/
 
On mine now, not massively impressed with Forza to be honest but it was free with the console so cant complain too much. I think i,ll only be buying the exclusives for each console and stuff like BF COD Fifa etc will be on my PC in future.
The actual console itself though ... Very nice ;)
 
LOL just had my cousin ring me up and shout down the phone...i got my xbox one before you did...im like WTF you on about??, i got mine last night and even texted the muppet to tell him and sent him a pic of the box lol.

Im thinking seeing as the day one controller is so nice, im going to pack it away and use the spare controller i have instead:p. Will definitely have to ease up on my rage attacks when i keep dying in a game which usually results in the controller being flung against the wardrobe. I think with the 360, i must have gone through about 6 wireless controllers lol.
 
Missus has just collected 4 parcels from next door, should be 2 games, xbox live, controller and charge station and Gary is only 30 minutes away with my Xbox!
 
game have failed me hard :( last time i use these for launch consoles,first i was told twice to turn up at ten to pick up a ticket so i could call back at midnight this did not happen so ended up standing in q for 2 hours even though i had pre purchased everything ,then i get home set up console and realise i don't have my fifa code so the only way to communicate with these muppets is through twitter and after waiting over 2 hours for a reply they tell me to contact customer services as the console has been used :mad: how hard is it for me too go down to shop with receipt and get a fifa code :roll eyes: ps4 pre order canceled ill try and pick one up from somewhere else either at launch or after xmas

Anyone know how to stream movies from my PC (8.1) to Xbox One?

Do I need to download an app and will I still need Playstation Media Centre to be able to play movies that use codecs the Xbox One does not recognise.
 
ah well got mine today from argos,i knew id have a problem with it because i have worst luck first 360 i got had rrod within a couple hours.So opened this and the left bumper button has hardly any click the right bumper clicks and feels good the left just feels like click its very weak

god dammnit

If it's anything like the Xbox 360 and Windows 8.1 integration you simply right click on video files on your PC and select Play To. The Xbox One should show up as a device.

In my experience this works great with the 360 (actually prefer it to almost every other media streaming method I've ever tried). It plays everything I have thrown at it except for mkv files.

You need to use the PC to send the media to the Xbox though. I take things to the next level and use Splashtop Remote Desktop on my Macbook Air to connect to the PC from the same room as my 360!
