Has anyone tried their xbox one out with Sky TV yet?
Really? I suppose I should have done my research beforehand. ah well.
Although it isn't quite what you hoped for it is a very reliable method for media streaming and handles video files that I had problems with when using other methods such as PS3 Media Server. No doubt it will be even more reliable when using the Xbox One as the hardware has more grunt.
The PS4, on the other hand, has literally zero DLNA capability. I have one pre ordered but am seriously considering going for the Xbox One now due to this.

Are the times on Giant Bomb local to you? I'm wondering if their Xbox One stream is starting at 7pm GMT or 7pm Pacific?

Unfortunately HDMI pass through doesn't work with the console off, which is what I was hoping for. I've stuck my Roku through it instead as that gets less use than Sky.
