The replays on Fifa look incredible.
Highly unrealistic game though, Bendtner just scored against Real Madrid![]()

Whats the noise levels like on the new box? also do you have to use the camera?

Apparently Xbox has sold more than a million consoles in less than 24 hours - nice going considering the limited markets and predictions of doom from some.

To keep sales going in the new year they will have to have some mega bundles with games and another controller or cut the price.

I can't remember what happened last time around - do they start giving games away for free (as part of a bundle) after a few months?
how do you control kinect sport thing? it just sits at the start screen, im sitting in my seat about 5 feet from the kinect, it cans see me on the kinect setup ok
Absolutely fine. I would say its nearly silent, in fact my freeview box makes more noise even though i hoovered the thing out.
As for the kinect i have it plugged in, the benefits leaving it plugged in far outweigh unplugging it. Although you dont actually have to have it connected.

Have an unopened Xbox on my floor, can't really afford to keep it now I need a new clutch.....god damn it, tough life choices.
Doesn't really make much difference does it as they both effectively sold out - one territory or 923, they couldn't have sold any more even if they wanted to. PS4 had first launch no competition advantage in the worlds biggest console market. Xbox always has been and still is the underdog in the console market with Sony dominating in every market other than the US, which I guess is why PS4 launched there first concentrating every single PS4 they had available into a market they knew would buy them all so they didn't have to compete against an already selling X1.It's not impressive at all when you consider Sony shifted that amount in one territory.
I would expect launch at this time of year means by far the majority of sales will be to console gamers and fanboys. There will be some lucky Christmas present recipients but at £300+ plus games at £45 I can't imagine there will be many. Some time next year there will be the bundled (launch) games, in particular as the post Christmas second wave of releases starts to hit, then eventually there will be a price decrease/more bundles in the run up to next Christmas, potentially giving MS more room to discount than Sony.Yeah games like zoo tycoon, Need for speed, fifa and forza will start being lobbed in to justify the price tag for a while but I just don't know that many more casual gamers that will drop that sort of money in the first 6 months of the year with xmas to get over and then summer coming.
Time will tell to see if I'm right but I have always thought launches this close to xmas are a bit stupid.
