Ffs anyone offer advice, pre-ordered xb1 and £125 in xbox live credit a while back and months xbl, didnt want xb1 anymore and was going to just keep ps4 pre-order, and they wont let me return the credit!! I'm stuck with £125 xbox live cards and 13months xbl and no xb1 yet they're unopened and won't let me return? what can i do? should they let me return seeing as it's unopened

they really should reduce the base price of game starter packs because when you are planning to release for example six car packs you know it's not a full game you are buying but a base game.

from being involved in the pcars beta I know exactly how long it takes to create a really high polygon car model because all of the assets on the forums have threads and the dev working on each car model lists how many hours he has been working on that model ;)

most of them take one person a few days worth of hours

I don't think codes are refundable. No way for them to know if they've been redeemed.
 
Game are cheeky bar stewards.... Bought forza day one online at 49.99 took it back as I ended up with forza bundle and they are selling all games for 54.99 and more.

So exchanged for 50quid xbox credit otherwise I'd have had to pay extra.
 
Watching the GB stream last night and the UI looks like a cluster of a mess. They were saying its easier to shout out what app you want as it can be hard looking for what you want.

PS4 sold 1m in just one country in one day.

Xbone sold 1m in 11 countries in one day.

MS must be worried as the split across countries must mean only a few 100,000 were sold in each. Even if they had limited stock they must have had more than 1m consoles otherwise why launch to so many countries - unless they were hedging their bets regarding sales.

The amount of sites with last minute day one stock did suggest a lot of cancelled pre orders caused by the average hardware reviews and disappointing software line up (Ryse etc).
 
Some negative reviews on UK Amazon are due to Amazon not delivering. Bit ****** to 1 star the thing you are purchasing because the company you purchased it from failed to deliver.

Also looking at Amazon.com, as with the PS4 1 stars, a lot of them are not verified purchases from Amazon so whilst there will be issues, who really knows how many are genuine and not a Sony fanboy, as for the PS4 and MS fanboys.

Yeah and the GB crew have reached the conclusion that the party system has gone backwards. Lots of firmware updates for the Xbone incoming... :D Or app updates. Whatever.

Someone I know's husband used to work for a tech company (I will not say which company or what the item was) and he gave me a bit of kit, free, to give it a good review on Amazon. The device wasn't bad but I did feel like I had prostituted myself somewhat :D
 
One million sales isn't that impressive compared to the PS4 when you take into account of how many more countries One was released in and shops still have stock.

How loud is the psu as my 360's Slim psu was louder than the console itself?

It's not impressive at all when you consider Sony shifted that amount in one territory alone, and have a further 2.3 or something million orders to supply in the us alone according to gamestop.

When ps4 is launched in Europe I would expect that million figure to pale compared to ps4 com combined 24 hour launch total.

its a good number by ms, but its not impressive compared to what Sony seem to be shifting.

mate has an Xbox one. its not as big as I thought. Controller is simply amazing. The graphics for Forza 5 were gobsmacking and I did find myself really thinking, can I really have two consoles. but finally sense won over and will just stick to the ps4.
