**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

I do hope nobody has suffered from it, I've seen several people on 'dem internets suffering from it.

It's horrible waiting so long and paying so much for something for it not to work.

Well, I've got some rather mixed feelings about the Xbox One at the moment.

I got a Day One with Forza 5 download and BF4.

While leaving Forza to download, I thought I'd install BF4 - which then instantly asked me to download an update and took over downloading priorty.

Next, my internet connection died while everything was mid-download.

So I try to play BF4 after it finished installing from the disc and I get one big error to say BF4 took longer than expected to load, so I couldn't do anything with it! I eventually uninstalled the game, then reinstalled with the Xbox off and not connected to the web and it worked OK.

Forza 5, I'm a little disappointed it feels like half a game - the car list hasn't got nearly enough race cars in there, but the game does look rather pretty, though it does seem to be crying for some anti-aliasing!

BF4 runs great at 60fps and looks pretty, which is nice.

The Kinect functionality really seems hit and miss for me. When my wife is sitting next to me, it automatically adds her and sometimes jumps between us when I don't want it to!

Finally, I keep getting message that my controller needs re-connecting, I've now synced it with the Kinect rather than the console and it has got better, but it still happens.

It just seems like they've released a half-finished software build for the home screen.

Is there a problem with Party chat at the moment?

Been trying for that past hour but all we get is a "Can not start part chart now, please try later"

My issue is with a 2nd controller, not what was included in the Day One, but the retail one. I got the problem that the D Pad is un-responsive, push left and you got to press it 5+ times before it moves left. And the controller just feel like it is broke inside. Contacting Shopto Monday for a replacement.

Otherwise the Xbox One is running great, and looking lovely.

Why is nobody mentioning the horrific frame rate of Dead Rising 3? It's borderline unplayable!

Well you did so have an internet cookie:p

On a serious note maybe people arent noticing it that much:dunno:. On my 360 there were games that had terrible framerates but honestly other than being mildly annoying, it didnt bother me that much.

Feel really sorry for the two men who were mugged last night for the xbox one.

Thats a shame, feel sorry for those guys...hope they find the scumbags that mugged them. My game store is within the shopping mall so only way to enter into the mall on launch night was via a well light entrance to the car parking for the mall. But soon as you got outside it was pitch black but the security guards on patrol that night said that if you walk alongside the mall there are cctv's that will follow you around.

Luckily for me, i got the missus to drive me there and back but i saw a lot of people walking around with the huge bags they give...it was like flashing a beacon to would be muggers and in my town centre there are enough of them. Hopefully none of them got mugged for theirs.

Very disappointed in this console. Dead Rising fps drops are awful. Games take take a ridiculous age to install and now I have a fifa squad file corruption error that won't go away. I bought a console to avoid all of this. Might send back and stick with the Pc. And they say it has dnla but it doesn't work.

I have strange problem with my play and charge kit, the Xbox logo keeps flashing white and then it cuts out fairly frequently.

It's fully charged as well, I've tried pairing it with the console a few times now.

Anyone else had similar?

My Day One Edition controller is fine.
