Amazon always take payment at the point of dispatch. If you see an amount prior to this then it's likely an authorisation

Guys to follow someone in the likes of Forza 5 , how do you do it , are you just following them in that game or do you follow their whole Xbox live so if they play diff games you follow them in them as well ?

Just done some Googling and it seems there's a lot of people having problems with controllers dropping out frequently and losing connection.
My Day One Edition pad is absolutely fine, but my play and charge kit drops out all the bloody time, it's unusable unless you have it plugged in via USB.... and yes... it's fully charged

i havent noticed dr3 being that bad but havent played much of it
tho my fifa runs all fine apart from penalties. after the bar there was a aim point but for some reason it doesnt show it up anymore :s dunno if its a bug or it wasnt suppose to pop out - originally it did on the practice but in a actual match nothing

You mean practicing penalties in FIFA? Generally you get three shots where the blue aim orb will appear and then it goes away - not a bug, this is intended
Oh and yes, no aim orb in matches is as its intended. It's something they got rid of about 3 games ago, you don't have arrows showing where you shoot for freekicks/corners (etc) so they removed it from penalties - much more fun that way too... it adds a real sense of drama to penalties

Both my day one controller and the extra controller i paid for have all worked fine with the plug n play charge kit. Havent had any dropouts or connection issues although ive put my day one controller in the box for the time being and am using the spare controller i bought. Its fully charged up but i still have it connected to the console...no issues with it whatsoever with the pnp kit plugged or unplugged.
Guess i got lucky as my day one console and extra controller have absolutely zero issues, feel sorry for the people who are having issues with theirs.
Yeah there seems to be a fair few people one the Xbox Support forums complaining about it.
Like I said, my Day One Edition pad is fine so no complaints there. At least I can still play
I'm going to swap the charge kit from play and charge into the Day One Edition to see if it's just a faulty charger rather than the entire pad - either way I will need to send this back to Amazon.

People make a big deal out of these problems though. No Console launch will be perfect people have to accept the fact these things have problems especially when they are mass produced. If my PS breaks when i get it on launch thats the risk i take with getting a console from release.
Yes but then people have been waiting a long time since pre-orders were opened so they expect it to arrive all working etc.
Id be mildly annoyedif my console had issues but then i would have gone back next day to game and got them to exchange the faulty accessories or the console. But for people who ordered it online, i can see why they would be annoyed as they would have to wait to get a new one or have to send the faulty one back etc.
You would argue that you would have the same chance of getting a bricked console or gamepad whether it's a launch console or one you buy 6 months to a year from now if it's the same model and no design/factory changes were made.
The only reason that these things are brought up now is because a significantly larger number of people are buying them at this point in time (it being a launch and all).
If Sony's 0.4% is believed, then 0.4% of 1,000,000 people is 4,000 complaints in 24 hours. If they sell another million this month, it's another 4,000 complaints spread out over 30 days... so it doesn't seem quite as bad.
It's all about perspective.
Edit: At the end of the day, launch or not - it's not unreasonable to expect working hardware/software. Either way, my play and charge kit is going back to Amazon sharpish, it's just a pain they're out of stock so I'll have to get a refund and hope someone else has one.

Yep not that i have many friends online to play with but from the past few days of exploring the dashboard, it isnt very good ie quite a few things missing and sometimes trying to find something is difficult.
Hopefully a new update will fix these issues especially the controller battery level as at the moment, there is no way to check how much charge you have left etc.
I think it was either late Wednesday night! Might have been Thursday morning though! Can't quite remember to be honest!
save your time, my opinion is it is near on impossible to find the invite for your game! I've gave up after 40 minutes.
