**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Well, after some playing with the interface and 1 match of Fifa I'm happy with it, all updates have gone smoothly, Fifa downloaded in about 25 mins and just doing Forza now, kinect seems to respond well, even though I'm always told I talk too quickly & muffled! :eek:

Only thing of any concern and it probably isn't even that, is that the LB button has a nice crisp click when pressed, RB functions the same but feels maybe a tad more laboured and doesn't "click" per say, might put a ticket in on MS but its no major priority for them I hope with some people having much bigger problems,.
 
I did read that there is some option that needs to be switched on for party chat by the host? Wonder if some bizzaro world PS4 party chat will work better than the XB1s :confused:

They will both wear in so they are a lot looser in no time. Had the same with 360 pads.

When I go into settings display and sound. digital audio hdmi audio it say's stereo uncompressed. When I try and change the setting to 5.1 uncompressed. it keeps saying

Hook it to your amp via Optical, comes through as DTS then :)
 
Such a shame as to why they messed about with notification and invites in general, that's why I loved 360 as it was just so easy to jump straight into a game with your mates.

Don't get me wrong I think the console itself is fantastic, but those few niggles are starting to wind me up!

The invites are in the little world icon thing in the top left of the dashboard, together with other notifications like achievements.
 
Quite clearly this was rushed for Christmas! That's why Microsoft waited to see what Sony where going to do regarding release dates back at E3. I am sure they where hoping it would have been in 2014. I would say Microsoft could have done with another 6 months.

But even still I am enjoying the Xbox One experience so far :)!
 
Ahhh must be bugged then I guess, that where mine are.. saying that I've been having problems today with Multiplayer stuff and party chat etc.
 
Invites go to your notifications on the top left on the dashboard. Quite a few things have been annoying me with the new layout/interface.

1. No notifications for when friends come online
2. You always have to go to the dashboard to do anything, pressing the home button no longer opens that nice menu like on the 360.
3. Looking at the achievement you just unlocked takes you out of the game and to the achievement app.
4. Party chat is a hit and miss. Also having to turn it on when your on party is annoying.

Apart from that, everything else is smooth and running fine for me. Hopefully future updates make everything better and more efficient.
