**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Is there any hope of anywhere getting stock this side of xmas? I've a few sisters who are getting tortured by their kids for it.

After a quick Skype call to my friend who picked his up on launch day, i was really impressed by the camera.
 
FYI, the tip posted earlier about changing to the US store to buy the games much cheaper digitally (e.g. Ryse was about £38) worked fine. Money has gone through and playable having set the console back to UK.

I'm hoping OCUK will soon! They haven't eve had their first batch arrive yet.

If Microsoft make it so easy to switch region and buy games surely it's their error and not an exploit?

If someone was modding their machine to do so fair enough but this is such a simple operation if Microsoft do ban people then they are in the wrong as they are the ones who made it so easy it's not a real exploit. IMO.
 
Funny on KI in the tutorial the upper right and left of the screen is basically black. I changed my TV to THX mode and it's now grey with detail instead of black.

Just go options /system change to usa restart go to shop. add uk bank card with an address phone number and zip code from google somewhere in the usa making sure it all corresponds with each other and buy away. Came thru on my bank statement as same wording as the UK charges but £36.97 for the games. Then change back to UK and download the game. Doesn't work with Fifa as USA gets a different version but everything else ports over to UK.

The problem is you're not paying VAT by doing this (as far as I know anyway) so it is a form minor tax dodging.
 
I emailed them and they said completely ignored what I said and stated I only ordered the live not the voucher. Sent them another one.

Had the email this morning saying they cancelled my order.
Oh well worth a try.
