**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Have been forced to order from one of OCUK's competitors due to OCUK not having the foggiest when their stock is arriving. You'd think they'd have some idea or at least have had their first batch of consoles by now.. But nope, nothing.
 
Couple of question;

Where is the system storage info cos I can't find anything in system settings?
Is it possible to directly upload game clips to YouTube from the console?

Agreed - entering false US address details as well as being on a UK IP addy id likely to be more than enough to get you into problems, not least because of potentially fraudulent credit card details (address) being used. You'd be hard pushed to show how you managed to enter them by mistake rather than as an exploit.

Just buy the disc version from another country, ship to UK and problem sorted, although HMRC are likely to charge you duty.

£55 more than the PS4 mainly thanks to the kinect plus a slightly more expensive APU
 
Anyone point me in the direction of a decent deal at the moment?? I cancelled my preorder as I felt I couldnt afford one along side a PS4 and a TV, but turns out I'm getting a sizeable Christmas bonus. So I need to spend it before it burns a hole in my pocket.

:D Not bothered about fifa, so any of the other bundles would be preferable.
 
Can anyone explain how the whole game dvr stuff works please? I'm a bit confused.

I understand you can say "Xbox record that" to save the last 30 seconds of play, and that some games will automatically take a recording if something special/cool happens.

Do I then need to upload my clips for others to watch? or is that done automatically?

I think I uploaded a BF4 one the other day but I have no idea where I check.

You cant access your system storage info, apparently the Xbox one is smart enough to monitor it for you. You will get a notification if you are close to your 500gb limit. I would expect storage management will be added in future patch.

I havent seen anything about uploading clips to Youtube.

You dont need to upload anything, the console will save epic moments etc, but they sit in your Upload app. You need to save them to keep them. Then you can edit and upload if you want.

Okay, thank you :).

So I do the edit and upload so that my friends can see them? or friends can see them before that without actually doing anything?

It's not clear on the app, I must sound stupid, normally I understand all these thing without a problem!
