Well, I don't know when it did it, but this morning every clip from last night's BF4 session was uploaded. Logged in on wifey's account and there they were.

I don't mind too much about the auto upload as I have a decent fibre connection, but when exactly is it uploading these? A couple of options would be nice.
 
Posted it in the KI thread but will post it here, GAME have got back to me about the Fight Stick for KI and said that the Fight Stick isn't out until 21/02/14!
 
I presumed if you unticked 'record game footage with dvr' in the preferences it would stop randomly recording clips when you level up etc but still let you record on command but it doesnt it just disables the feature completely.

Haha, it's a bit clunky this game DVR, that's for sure. Auto upload is fine for some people, but me personally I would like to manage my clips manually. As it stands now, I have to go in and delete the clips I don't want after it's auto uploaded them.
 
Hmm that doesn't sound promising! I shall give it a try tonight and see if I experience the same. If I do I shall be cancelling my pre-order for the full game.
 
Unbelievable!

Both the day one edition and standard controller I have are faulty. The buttons stick on one, and the casing on the other is very loose.

Best to go back to Game or get in touch with Microsoft?

Thought it was quite good myself, especially considering the full game is still some way off. No issues with the menu either, but if you're having issues just start it with the controller?
 
Did anybody in here go to a Tesco at midnight to pickup their XB1? If so was it very busy, and did they have to queue or was it just a case of walking in and buying one?

i know of 1 guy who did in portsmouth and it was a case of walk in and buy with no one else there except a few early morning food shoppers. wasnt a 24hr shop tho it opened at 8am.

it wasn't taking any controller input to press start on the menu and moving around with your hand to select stuff is a nightmare. You push forwards to select and the hand moves up and misses the button. I think this sports rivals game would be more for me if it had fully control pad input and skipped on the kinect. The kinect excercise program could see me fine right in front of the pc monitor though and recorded a 10 minute workout with perfection

There is nothing on the console at all without gold. Unless there is a bbc iplayer in which case that by law has to be free. Pretty sure you cant even use TEd or machinima for free tho
 
Emailed 'Very' yesterday to see if there is any chance i will get it earlier that the 24th Dec.

Basically got a reply saying, "Maybe, most likely not though"

I know someone else didn't get their £5 voucher with the day one xbox live steelbook. I've just used Game Webchat and they just gave me a code over that which I have redeemed.

this is especially annoying in fifa, every time the keeper punches the ball it saves a game clip, i've hundreds of them
 
24th December would be a horrible delivery date, any delay like the driver wanting to get home early, means after xmas. Grrr.

I've got the Orb one.

The design is actually borked as they miscalculated the dimensions for the base of the Kinect, so the hole it clips into on the mount is too big and doesn't secure it as intended.

However I've found it still does a good job of keeping it sturdy, so I'm happy to keep it as it's not likely to fall off even if the TV stand gets knocked.
