Always funny to see some internetz rage though 
Completely underwhelmed
Just reminded me of the last unveil for the 360, CGI, no game footage but this time focussing on the non-gaming stuff, its a games console!
I missed a fair bit of the beginning though, what are the hardware specs?
The 360 turned out to be an alright console though didn't it
The one thing I really really really REALLY REALLY REALLY !!!!!! hope they do is get rid of xbox live subscription though. Sounds like they have some really nice ideas for connecting stuff up. But if there is still a fee to you to use online services, personally that feels like a kick in the nuts.
I will still get a PS4.... AND a Xbox One

Yeah but it's hardware design is more stylish than Xbox One and probably it's aesthetic appeal also pulled in some what reluctant punters. Can't see that happening with Xbox One

they said ghosts is running on a next gen engine...
no way, its the same engine. just an extension of the BO2 pc engine id imagine.
that screenshot is the PC version maxed out. looks better than what i saw in the trailer IMO>

I also have no idea who theyre particularly aiming this at.
personally, im not bothered about using it to control my tv habit or any of the other none gaming fluff thats included and that includes the compulsory kinect that sounds like its bundled with the system whether you like it not which will push the price up and is totally pointless to someone whos not going to be using it (well if its possible to not actually use it, that thing about recognising the controller and who it was via kinect is worrying)
i like the design of it all though and i was happy to see theyve not messed with the controller which is a big gripe for me with the PS4's pad unfortunately.

I have to say i was slightly underwhelmed by what i saw. The few games that they did show off didn't really show any in-game footage and not only that they didn't look that impressive, EA demo's looked awful i thought. Comparing the event to the PS4 event, Sony showed a lot more gameplay and the graphics that i saw were impressive, the xbox event was more about the multi media functionality, which is cool but as a gamer i want to see games, that's what these systems were invented for, TO PLAY GAMES.

Hmmm, I imagine a lot of people will disagree there. I still enjoy mine like the day I got it. I don't play as many games but that's because I'm an old fart now

I'd be surprised if people went on aesthetics, presumably people will but who cares what it looks like as long as the performance is good. My PC is fugly still performs great.
Pretty sure E3 will have more games being shown off and tech demos by both consoles.

Was totally meh imho lol.
Makes me appreciate my PC more, thank god the lowest bar for graphics (Consoles) is finally going to be raised.. I might pick up a cheap PS4 a couple years after launch for Killzone and a few other exclusives but the Xbox One with it's fee for used games and it's fee for playing games you already bought online is gonna stay on the shelf..
Look forward to playing Call Of Duty Ghosts @ 1440P max setting on PC, already looking better than the 'next' gen consoles..
