Yeah I think I'm going to hold off completely now until April. The urge has passed to get one and more and more stuff is putting me off. The controller will grow on me but I don't like it as much as the 360 pad :(

360 pad feels far better quality, I just wish I could still use them.

Hopefully by the time they fix this stuff they can give us a price cut too ;)
 
Getting up to speed on the XONE, with Forza and BF4. Will add a bunch of you if thats ok! (out of about 60 friends it seems only 3 play anymore!!!)
 
Am considering peggle for the missus / kids to play. Is it any different from the old PC versions? Also, any other games like this coming out soon?
 
On the 360 you could force an update by doing a network connection test, might be the same here, but TBH I'd just wait and let it do it itself.
 
my only major gripe at the minute is the party chat system.

They need to bin the idea of being in a party, but not party chat, and have it on by default. And then fix the fact it never lets you turn party chat on unless you've just switched the xbox on.

Every time without fail, switch xbox on, join party, activate chat, and it works. If you don't do this and join a party after a while it won't work. Turn xbox off, back on again and rejoin and you're in.

Its so daft.

It did on PS3 / 360 until the patch that came out.

At least they are probably testing the Xbox one patch and making sure it actually fixes stuff, unlike the PC patches which they rushed out which didn't work and in some cases made stuff worse.
 
Noticed that the top and bottom of my controller doesn't line up properly anymore. Still seems fine apart from that though.

I complained to Microsoft about the shoddy build of these pads and they wouldn't do anything.

Seems they've really skimped on quality control, even moreso than last time.
 
Has anyone bought any digital games from the xbox US store? I noticed they are $60/£36ish much better than paying £55.
 
I have noticed the RB button on my Day One edition controller is a little 'loose'. Thought I could live with it but now I have noticed it... its bugging me a little.

Rang the MS Store and they said they would replace it but would have to send it in.

Might just see if it stops bothering me first so I'm not down to just one controller for god knows how long.
