**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

this whole time i plugged my xbox one directly into the monitor. Tonight I bought a THX certified £1200 pioneer receiver and was shocked at how fuzzy letterso n the dashboard are now totally noiseless............I literally had no idea a video processor could improve my picture with such a great monitor! I think the processor is doing the scaling now instead of my dell or something.
have now tried it A/B testing and the picture has fuzz around letters without the amp!

wut?

Mine must have updated last night, just noticed I'm running the latest version. Then again mine is always left on stand by "low powerstate".

I have that under my console too, it's portuguese/brazilian. If it was spanish it would have an accent on the "e"

my xbone will not power up again for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. The support on there site have not got a clue why and want me to send it back. is there any chance i can just get my money back?

Does it work again if you completely unplug it from the mains?

A few times I had it where my console wouldn't power up (front button was unresponsive). I put it down to me enabling the "quick game resume" option in Power Settings that says it's in BETA.

Disabled that and it's been fine since.

Couldn't work out why my Xbox wouldn't turn on when I asked it too... realised the update had downloaded and powered down the console :)

Seemed to go ok though, although really wish they had something moving on the green Xbox One logo screen as I thought it might of hung.

Its within 30days so youll have to argue a refund with the retailer - no point talking to MS for that...

Is it doing this?

I spoke to MS last night and I am getting an express replacement.

yeah it is. i was talking to an ms guy last night for over an hour. telling me to unplugg everything leave it for 10 mins try again . Non of it worked. I would get a replacement but this is the 3rd time it has done this and i cant be bothered with it and just want my money back really.

Your best bet really is to sell the replacement on. I was in double figures for 360 replacements 3 is nothing ;)

Assuming its 1080p, what scaling?

I figure it isn't scaling but it's doing something to make things look less oversharpened. I need to do more testing tonight as it's a very high end video processor and I'll want to play around with levels and sharpness filters and also test 720p>1080p processed by the pioneer.
