**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Just turned the Xbox on to find Max: The Curse of Brotherhood in the games store, Looks quite interesting kind of platformer.

Didn't even realise there was going to be any more releases this side of christmas.

Aren't these game updates supposed to download/install when my xbox is on standby?

Mine doesn't seem to work either, some apps like YouTube has updated itself. Forza, BF4 and the console update haven't though. They download, but you have to install, which is annoying because the HDD is always turning on every 10-15mins 24/7.

ps3ud0, stop it. It's the only way it's going to stop.

It's a pointless, petty argument.

I had BF4, and Forza 5 updates that had downloaded whilst my console was off, they just have to install when you launch the game.

Well considering your example youve used to illustrate your point, Dan Greenwalt already advised that the size of Forza 5 patch was largely to do with content and drivetar setups...

Not your fault Macro, yet again youve been found wanting trying to pass off guesswork as useful insight that you cant substantiate...

Btw I didnt say there was no way it was affected, more that that granularity hasnt been observed, otherwise you could have at least backed up your claim rather than dodging it and then accusing me of the same thing you are doing (that was laughable stupid of you)...

Time for you to be passive aggressive again, why dont you wriggle out by saying that was only one of your examples or it was a bad one, not like you to not check your facts and make things up

ps3ud0
Glad to see you back tracking now you've been made to look foolish by starting to say "I didn't say there was no way it was affected" despite having posted a whole raft of posts trying to suggest exactly that. For some reason you took the opportunity to bicker insisting the OS not being finished had no affect on the day one patches and have tried to bluster your way out of a ridiculous position when called to account.

I posted "The difference is launch titles not only have final game play refinements carried out and added as a patch on first install, they have to cope with the platform having been finalized and potentially substantial changed between sending the games off to be mastered onto DVD and actual release. Once we get past day one platform release the underlying OS changes will be much less of a moving targeting potentially meaning the games themselves will require a smaller update on release." which I think to pretty much everyone is entirely reasonable, except to you, never liking to miss the opportunity to start an argument. I do wonder if you even read what I said properly based on your increasing odd rants.

Once again your selective quoting and desire to try to disrupt the XO thread with negative spin is pretty inane but mildly amusing. I do love the fact you like to take a pop at people accusing them of "faux offence", "passive aggressive" etc followed by sulking and doing exactly that yourself when you get some stick back.:D

Wow I guess we know who are the biggest xbox and PS fan boys on here!

I dunno - I just suggested that future XO game release patches may be smaller as they don't have to potentially add changes due to an unfinished OS and somehow Ps3udo went off on one. For what it's worth I wouldn't be surprised if the same applied to PS4. /shrug :)

Don't know how I missed this completely although the screen shots look attractive. Not for me though, my platforming days are over, trying to do pixel perfect jumps whilst hitting multiple buttons just leads to me raging at the TV as I miss the jump for the 243rd time :)

How do you turn that awful snap thing off? Any app i try to go on through kinnect speech thing, it brings it up but in the snap bar which is useless.

Deleted Dead Rising demo off the xbox as for some reason the Xbox loved starting it up randomly on its own....

I have had my xbox one set up side by side with ps4 for a few days now and although both have merit unless Dead Rising 3 really grabs me ( later today) I have a feeling I will stick with ps4.
Whats the story with old xbox games will they receive a "recoding" to work with the one over time?
