You should have just put it in ps4 thread and then just said you are getting the game in here. Doesn't seem right to put ps4 footage in a xbox1 thread unless you doing a comparison

I'm not a big fan of cross-thread posting though, so seems a little silly to post the video in one thread and then discuss it in another :)
 
I was kind of panicking about the pad....until I looked at the picture! Isn't that where everyone clicks the shoulder buttons :confused: I have my fingers on the triggers then click the shoulder buttons with '2nd segment' of my finger above the knuckle. Seems like you would have to go out of your way to hit the inner side of the button :/

That's exactly how I hold the pad and use the buttons. I was thinking I was the only one for a moment! :)

Yep, though I actually flick my finger to it, but always to the outside of the button, I never even though their would be much sensitivity on or near the actual hinge on the button!

This for me too so should be OK. The pad still looks perfect to me so it'll be interesting to hear more feedback from the lock ins.
 
Not actually sure where I press the shoulder buttons but sure i'll adapt if I have to ;)

I must admit all these videos of the Xbox One's features are getting me more excited by the day.

But the video is ps4 footage, it has no place in here in the context you chose to put it in. I don't see the issue with putting the vid in the ps4 thread where it belongs and then mentioning the game here, you are getting both consoles right? So its going to be pretty hard not to cross thread post.

At least state clearly that it is ps4 footage in your post, I know the next post down and the end of the video says it is but trust me ppl can still miss the fact it is ps4. You are giving a chance (that can easily be corrected) for ppl to be mislead. Kinda like 4k bf4 PC,s@xbox1 keynote

They're going to have to give us something comparable to PS+ I think. They know they're playing catchup to Sony.

It may not be as good but we should get something.

Edit - I say we but I don't even sub to XBL atm!

Intresting, Is this an effort to keep us playing 360 & One at the same time? Compared to how fast MS threw the old xbox out of the window last time its an impromement to say the least.

Honestly I would imagine that once I have my Xbox One the 360 will start gathering dust pretty quick but 2 free games every month will at least have you turning the machine on and downloading those.
 
The reason my 360 will never gather dust is rockband. Sadly if they ever come out with a next gen version all that plastic crap become redundant. Until then I have to keep a 360 :D

Even then I will be miffed that it will require completely new peripherals even wired.

I only played forza, there was only 6 xboxes set up, wait in the queue of 60 people, play a game and wait in the queue again. I had 2 laps on forza, first one with the mclaren second with a focus. I am not a big forza player so don't really have a frame of reference, looked really nice. Load times were long, but that is hopefully just an unoptimised demo build. I just thought that would be the best to try out the triggers.

Dead rising on the xbox next to me really impressed, just the sheer number of zombies on screen.
