**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

You know the answer to that really. DR3 if released mid cycle in a consoles life would barely raise an eyebrow. It will sell well as king kong did when the 360 came out, not because it will be stunning but there's little else on offer.

Stop talking rubbish Danny. I know you're not a fan of Dead Rising but you know full well the game would be well received and sell well irrespective of when it released during the console life cycle :p

Dead rising COOP is meant to be a "fuller experience" this time round, my biggest issue last time was if your weren't hosting you only got XP out of it not quest progression.

I reckon Ryse will be in the bargain bin before DR3 so I think I'll get that once its cheap.

Nice to see game as selling fighter within at half price with any console they obviously don't have high sales predictions for that. They are also doing the same for the Lego game.

Yup, saw the same thing. It'll carry over any progession you make as a co-op partner, and give you the option to skip to that point when you return to your own game. Not something I'll personally take advantage of straight away (as I'll play it through on my own first), but certainly a useful feature.

You're right, I found the thread ;)

I found the 'official thread on DR2 as well 380 posts, 100+ of which where Anticonscience, Psymonkee and Kainz :D

Joking aside it was the controls and save system that put me off, I'd have played them if it wasn't for that. Well probably not now because I'm over saturated with the slow moving zombie game.

I have always been a PS fanboy, but I am attracted to the xbox one more then the PS4, we have just brought my boy a 360 for xmas so sharing gold will be handy but I just feel as if the xbox is the better option.

The series has sold over 5.9m copies. I think that shows the popularity :p

Did you ever play DR2 onwards? The controls were so much better from there on, much more traditional.

Haha would have been very boring if you just sat in the holding room for 2 hours waiting for medicine time! Personally I really enjoyed DR2. It certainly gets better after the first mission. :D

The first was a classic but people didn't like the time constraints mechanisms... without it there was little tension or drive to the story and game play.

I've been browsing around all things xbox tonight and I didn't realise that Xbox Music was a free streaming service on a web browser now.

I cant see myself paying for the service on the console but I will use it on my PC now, the music selection and interface are pretty good.

If they ever did a "platinum" live that included it at a good price I'd think about it and maybe if I ever got a Windows phone it would be worth it.

MS missed a trick by never bringing the Zune to the global market even though I bought one while in the US I and many other are now invested in other eco-systems be that goggle or apples.

Yeah but you couldn't venture far or you'd miss the deadline. Honestly found it annoying. Constant loading screens as well. New one looks amazing though.
I never found the load screens annoying tbh, but I can understand why some people do. I think if you do the first bit of DR2 quick enough (getting the first dose of Zombrex), you have about 5-6 hours to kill before you need to give it to Katie, so plenty of time to do things.

Even though I didn't mind the time mechanics, I'm glad you have the option to not have them in DR3. With such a big map you need to be able to explore everything in your own time without having to worry about missing things. Still looking forward to going through it in Nightmare mode though and seeing how tight the limits are.
