Settings, Preferences, activity feed, untick share clips and screenshots automatically.

Stop you flooding my activity feed with your screenshots. :)
 
Are any you having any problems with controller sync at all? It's happened a few times now but when I turn the console on with the controller it doesn't actually turn the console on, I have to take the batteries out then hit the console power button manually, put the batteries back in etc. Sometimes the actual button configuration has changed by itself in the settings and I have to reset to default.

Also is there a way to change the dead zones at all? Nowhere near tight enough for me.

Yes that's what I thought but the configuration automatically changing in the settings is kinda odd. I use instant on mode, perhaps it would be smart to turn it completely off and try it that way for a few days to see if there is any difference or improvement.

My Xbox is set to instant on but games are not updating or download when the console is off ?!?

I have to go into my games and apps and start download from the queue.

I like using the xbox app on my phone to kick off downloads but it's pointless if my Xbox doesn't automatically start downloading.

Mine is the same and I haven’t figured out a way to fix it. It used to work fine on my Xbox One S but since getting the X it won’t work.
 
Just got my X1X on Tuesday. Last night the controller randomly kept showing as being disconnected. It reconnects itself pretty quick, but still annoying.

Also how warm do peoples Xbox's stay when turned off? It's set to instant on so i presume something is ticking over, but the top of the unit is warm to the touch even after being powered off for 12hrs.
 
Glad I am not the only one feeling clueless about getting it to download in the background without completely going to sleep. I never realised how much I rely on that with the PS4 :p.

Halo 5 is 99Gb and the WiFi in my son's room hits 30mbps average, so it's going to be a while.

I haven't noticed any particular amount of heat from the console, even while playing FH4, but there is a Sky Q mini box stuck to the bottom of the cabinet directly above it (above five inches of air space). That kicks out a ridiculous amount of heat for what it is. I need to get a proper bracket and move it up above the TV really, it might help with the WiFi too.

Edit: Oh, the controller suffered it's first drop already, courtesy of my wife knocking it off the shelf while getting something else :eek::p.

they feel really good to hold, but have really poor build quality and are built on the second revision XB1 controllers before they fixed the bumpers and built in bluetooth. Im on my second one in six month, and im sure its only a matter of time before the rubber grips fall off

Mine is warm to the touch after many hours.

I had random controller disconnects and found the one of the batteries wasn’t seated properly, probably worked it way out with movement.
