i made switch last year when they announced xbox scorpio
Since then i've been enjoying my racing games

Game have sold out of Scorpio editions, might be worth going into a store though and put your name down as someone may cancel, Normal editions go up for pre order next month some time.
My Very order is not due until the 8th, but the console cost me £359.99 probably as i ordered two games with it.

It does say £3.99 also in tiny text direct from manufacturer, It would be nice if it turned up on the day but if not my work mate has two on order, one from Game and another coming in to work from amazon which he said i can take on and bring my order in the day after it arrives, I've booked the day off so would rather play than wait for it.
I have a One X preordered but am tempted to cancel and just go for a cheaper PS4 Pro, not many Xbox exclusives that jump out for me.
Will many third parties go to the effort of improving games for the One X much more than the Pro? I saw the Tomb Raider screenshots on Eurogamer and they do look better but not convinced in game I would really notice.

Yeh I get what you mean. I have a Pro and have preordered the One X but thinking I may just get the One S instead.
For me it is a combo of most of the exclusives being on PC anyway so thinking of just getting the S for multiplayer and 4k blurays.

I suspect that as time passes and devs squeeze more and more out of games and hardware the extra horse power with X1X will start to show increasingly more often either as additional detail/effects or more solid frame rates.
Very much what I am doing now after deciding on it.. I have sold my Nintendo Switch as I hardly used it and it not really settled on me like the Old NES days... So I am going o keep my PS4 Pro now and use that for like Uncharted etc and use the XBX for Muliplat games.. Hope I made the correct choice lol
Nope the existence of my PC means I'll likely get a second hand S to replace my OG Xbone rather than an X.
I change my mind on this daily however

I wouldn't say ditching PC entirely but it won't have any further investment from me now, so it'll just have to make do.
The simple reason is how much parts have gone up in cost. RAM, SSD and GPU's are ridiculous prices now. Considering I mostly used the PC for gaming, trying to justify the cost has become difficult. What I've got now will just have to manage until prices settle down. if they don't settle, then I may just go console only in the future, but I love my strategy games like total war, 4X games etc which don't generally transfer well onto consoles so I either give up on those type of games or I might just look to 2nd hand parts to keep costs down only when I have to upgrade the PC to play a newer strategy game.
Everything else game genre wise I'll just go console.
I'm glad they've done it but Microsoft's decision to also release Xbox exclusives on PC simultaneously is what's pretty much ended my interest in the Xbox. I still have an XB1, which I'll hang onto for the Xbox gold monthly games, but I don't see me buying another one in future if I can get the same games on PC.
What are the PC versions like in your opinion, superior to Xbox or shoddy ports?
I remember seeing Forza on the windows store for £60 and thinking no thanks MS. Just checked Amazon and even now is over 50% more expensive on PC.
Forza is play anywhere, so you buy it on xbox and can play it on PC as well. Its had some pretty deep sales on Xbox now. You can buy it from the website if you dont own a console. the MS store in windows doesnt always show the same sale prices which is stupid as all hell.

As for the games, ive played gears of war 4 and forza Horizon 3 both are fine, both run at 4k fine and the only issue ive had with them has been network related with gears 4 and the xbox app on PC crashing while i was on Forza so be being logged out.
