These Project Scorpio editions include a 1TB hard drive and feature the name "Project Scorpio" on both the console and controller. There's a few other minor cosmetic differences too, like the controller has all black buttons and the console has a slightly different woven texture than the vanilla Xbox One X.

I like the look of the woven texture of the console.

I take it these will be available alongside the 'standard' versions, or will these be all we get on day one?
 
Quite looking forward to this now!

Moving more and more towards console gaming after waiting for the utter fail of a GPU Vega is and PC components becoming ridiculously priced. Considering all I do on PC is game this new Xbox is looking mighty attractive at the minute
 
Maybe we’ll get the Xbox 360 Gears games for free this time. That’d be nice.

Anyone think they’ll launch OG Xbox back compact tomorrow? Maybe we’ll get Fusion Frenzy for nothing instead.

It was a special pre-order. One came with Fifa and other came with Forza. It was the same price as the normal editions released on the same day.

So....I have an XBox One Elite(replacement from launch Xbox One), Xbox One S, launch PS4, PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, 3 gaming PC's, one with a GTX 1070, other with an GTX 1080 and just upgraded my main PC to a Radeon RX Vega 64.

I still dont have a 4K TV yet as my 60" 1080p TV is working fine and I am going to buy the XBox One X on release........am I mad?!?!?!? :confused:
 
Each to their own but hard to see the point of having the Xbox Elite, original PS4 and two "spare" gaming PCs. I'd sell those and get yourself a 4K HDR TV instead :)
 
What on earth just happened?!?!!? I mean WTF!!!!!!!

My TV has just failed.......lol. Its got the dreaded LG "No Signal" HDMI failure! And is out of warranty :(

Erm...well yeah......time to get an new TV I think.....
 
I too need to upgrade my TV ready for this badman, anything decent knocking about that doesn't break the bank? It'll be for my man cave so not fussed about sizing.

What specs should be looking out for? Obviously 4K UHD/HDR?

Thanks for the info, gives me more of an idea what to expect as I missed the actual Xbox One release and Google search gave me no real results.
