Purchased xbox one x yesterday, and transferred games/settings from internal to external. Also ticked "download 4k enhancements".

Should I see anywhere a comfirmation the 4k has downloaded, like FH2 or FH3 xbox one enhanced?

Yes, they taken money on Friday, not checked website.

I've just upgraded to 8TB external HDD, can't see 4TB lasting long.

Considering everything they've thrown at it, I don't know why they didn't add in a small SSD for the OS and maybe one or two games. a 64GB SSD wouldn't increase the production cost much and would help load times hugely.

You're right, but there's a good reason an SSD is seen as one of the best upgrades someone can make for a PC. I think it would be a worthwhile benefit and a distinct and marketable advantage over the PS4 Pro.

It already has 8GB of flash for OS/program caching etc. The best thing would be to make the hard drive user replaceable so you can stick whatever you want in.

Ok that makes sense, I didn't know it had the flash memory. Increasing that size might have been a benefit but I can understand why they didn't now.

I just got my dispatch email now from them.
