Xbox One X

Wolfenstein is annoying me.

Can't be hooped with the difficulty!

Might just put is down to lowest setting and get through it. A frustrating game so far

You need to play it a little different that a normal FPS I found, a little more full on guns blazing type of style. Also don't aim down sights as much etc and dual wielding is awesome. It isn't difficult at all really once you get the used to it.

Indeed, the ADS in this game sucks. The game itself gets a lot easier when you get a few perks, as well as the full 100 health pot.

Really annoyed - I cannot in any way shape or form buy Doom 2016. Just getting repeated error messages. On console, on xbox app, on microsoft website.......

No matter what I do I get error messages:

Give it another try

I'm just wondering if you wouldn't mind posting feedback please on the noise levels of your X's, mine seems quite loud during gaming sessions on COD WW2 and Wolfenstein, not like a bearing issue more in the way it varies in RPM and sometimes it lets out a big whooshing noise then lowers again to normal but it's always audible during gaming to varying degrees. It's always quiet on the dashboard and has plenty of breathing room all around but I've read loads of posts on the variances in noise levels on these so wanted some input from others, cheers.

Can't respond with CoD or Wolfenstein but on AC Origins (which by judging by the slow downs, can be very resource intensive) it's very quiet. Almost silent.

However, if I close the glass door on in the AV cabinet it's in, it gets very stressed and very hot so door open is definitely the answer for me. Interestingly, the S could cope with the door closed without sounding like I was melting the chipset so I don't know what that says about the X, but it's probably a good thing.

If yours has plenty of breathing space perhaps it is unusual for being audible. How far away from it are you? Is it enclosed, not enclosed, standing up?

Mine is flat and the room it's in is not particularly warm either, plenty of room for it to breathe as well.

Mine is pretty quiet most of the time. Most of the noise I hear from mine is actually from the drive if I'm playing a disc based game. If I play a digital game, I can't say I've really noticed it.

Just bought an X and have a 4TB USB3.0 hardrive, would it be better and faster to just use this from day one?

There is not really much of a difference now between internal and external speeds because microsoft improved the speed on the internal drive.

I just use an external personally though.

COD Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition, £13.50 del from CEX
MW2 is included on disk, no code needed
Thanks that is really good - just got myself an Xbox One X with Forza 7 And AC Origins but LOVED Modern Warfare!! Great to know that this is actually on the disc rather than DLC (which is why I never bought it used for my PS4 Pro.

Do you know, is the resolution on MW Remastered increased further on the X like the Pro version though? Pro runs at 2880x1620 according to Digital Foundry.
