Anyone know how pre-orders work on the Microsoft store?
I pre-ordered Black Ops 4 to get access to the 'Blackout' beta but meant to cancel before the release date (October 12th)
However, I notice a charge on my card for £59.99 - The price of the game on the store.

Should be able to, go on you Microsoft account, payments and billing. If no luck jump on their chat and kick off.
... £368 with 3 games inlucing forza 4 and fifa 19 which I'll sell for £35-£40 if possible bringing the cost down to 340 ish... will get assassins creed and wait for read red 2

My 1X arrived earlier today. All set up, updates downloaded, forza downloading now.
The menu seems clunky compared to the PS4, but I guess that is just mecnot being familiar with it.
Question re controller.... Mine came with 2 aa batteries and no cable.
Is it simply a case of replacing batteries as and when or can you replace the battery with a rechargeable one and charge via the console with a cable like the ps4?

Replace batteries or buy a play and charge kit (custom battery pack) so you can leave the pack in, charge from the controller and keep playing also they last for donkeys. Other than that buy some decent rechargeables or a 40 pack of GP ultra from Amazon for less than a tenner.

You would only need a cable so you can use on a PC if not using Bluetooth.

Not really impressed with my purchase so far due to the controller issues. If I use instant on then the controller will not start the console, if I press the power button on the console instead it actually then turns it off(because it's in standby). The only way to stop the problems is to power down completely every time meaning no background updates or suspending any running games. Not what I expected from a cutting edge console it must be said.
Get it replaced then?
