Xbox One X

What’s the point of 8K televisions? Is there any content now or out in the near future to take advantage of 33 million pixels? :D
 
Halo 3 wasn't even remastered lol, it was upscaled and higher FPS, but not even remastered, so even worse than you thought.
 
The Warthog driving bit at the end of Halo 3 with the theme music blaring is still one of my all time favourite gaming moments.......

Ok so ive had my Xbox One for a few years now, im tempted to jump on one of the Xbox One X deals thats going on at the moment, i have a 4K HDR tv so the benefit there is obvious, i will also gain 500GB internal storage, i use a 2TB External drive currently as well.

Is there any other benefits of moving up to the X? regular games play better? is the system overall faster in day to day use? i hear they are quiet as well? not that ive ever noticed my Xbox being overly loud in all honesty.
 
Mine is definately quieter than my original Xbox.

Also what's been a lot better for me is that there is no longer an external power brick, this makes cable management much better :)
 
Top code is a months Gamepass (new accounts only)
Bottom code 2 weeks live gold.

No use to me as not eligible to redeem, found whilst tidying room :D

Not sure the 500GB extra is a big benefit as the I stall size of games pretty much doubles.
Having said that, mine is pretty much silent. So much quieter than my PS4 Pro.

Yeah I was a tad shocked as well.
Bought an Xbox recently, works out I have an account under my email..so here I am registering games under my account thinking "I'll change the name later on"...only to be hit with £7.99 price tag!
