yeah but exclusives or not, if the machine powers games that are on PC /X1 and PS4 better then even a good spec PC and you are in the market for a new TV next year and get one with VRR tech then this machine does still look attractive and just use a Sony machine for the exclusives - if you haven't got a PC already and this machine comes in at under £400 it really is a no brain if you ask me.

Its got a lot of power for a games console with some niffy new tech and 12GB memory is massive and devs can use high res textures , the GPU is decent so on paper it looks good, and even if you just play multi plats it should perform pretty well.

You would be loopy if you think TV manufacturers will be all on board this tech as soon as next year, HDR is still a mess at the moment with specs and different implementations, all this console does is manage to make buying a new TV even more of a minefield for the next few years whilst manufacturers mess about with specs and what not.

Not a good time to be in the market for a new TV at all.
