I don't suppose you can plug it into another console to transfer the game? once the series X is out, we'll have three consoles and our internet isn't great. I've heard 100gb+ games ouch!

Xbox Game Streaming on Android will give you access to xcloud (if you've got access) and your local xbox as long as your on the insider omega programme. My One X is not that good and constatnly stutters via a wired connection yet is much better wireless; both on Android and Windows...

The Series X is supposed to, according to MS, stream games to another device at up to 4K/60 which is pretty mighty... question will be how the quality changes... it may be HDR as well similar to Gamestream on the shield tvs but I'm not expecting the same quality as nvidia can do as AMD have historically not been as good with their encoders as nvidia.
 
Interesting video DF did a bit ago, illustrating that raw TFLOP numbers aren't the be all and end all when it comes to framerate.

I saw that video and yes that's true but it also does show not quite that simple as the 6TFlop 590 outperformed the 4 newer gen sometimes I think maybe due to memory bandwidth etc

So I'd say not that simple

If I were to guess in some circumstances Series S wil outperform a One X and in others a bit slower but we'll see

Just like my 290 has aged well due to high memory bandwidth etc Vs some newer cards

The load times on the one x are really frustrating, this really is one of the stand out features for me, no more making a cup of tea whilst waiting for RDR2 or Metro Exodus to load.
 
GTA or Red Dead Online are both chores to even try and play, as any loading time is often lengthy. So this sort of stuff should hopefully be a thing of the past for consoles with this gen.

This is definitely a case of S and X lines though. Good to see the S could probably keep up with the current X in some pure graphical senses, but is certainly a step up on others. Compared with the current One S, should be a good leap forward.
 
Can you lay the series X flat? Very tempted with the all access price, but don't think it will physically fit into my cabinet unless I can lay it flat.
 
There are many videos on YouTube of people that received the shells of both consoles to check out the size of them and to get an idea of where they might fit.
 
So this is a completely new controller? I've found the Xbox one controller reliability to be terrible compared to the 360's. I still have all my 360 ones working fine, despite gaming a 10th as much just about all my Xbox one controllers have had issues, Elite controller 2 also has had poor build quality and lots of reported issues.

Hoping for an elite 3 as well.

Iirc Phil Spencer already said they addressed controller reliability.
