XCOM : Enemy Unknown - by Firaxis Games - Thread

Only 17% till the end of reward 3 with just less than 2 weeks to go, should most likely get it which is a nice bonus. Thrown my pre order in now while I remember.
 
I only ordered through steam because it seemed easier & the price was not much more then retail (for a change), not really fussed about the extras but a free game is a free game, but is Civ 5 any good? I've never played any of the games before always been more of a total war man myself.
 
Pre-Ordered !! CANNOT wait !!!! gonna be my winter 2012 game! :)

This along with Kerbal SP, that's me sorted for the winter, I don't get enough time usually to play many games but when I do, it will be these :-)
 
I really wish it would let you skip the tutorial in the demo. I very much would like to replay the second mission a few times and try different approaches, but can't be faffed redoing the first bits.

Ho hum, only two weeks to wait until I get to do what I want. Bring it on.

If you let the last alien kill your whole squad, you instantly restart the mission, without the demo bit ;)
 
Switched over to Steam as i figured I could live with the download time in return for a free game. Never really been into Civ games much before, but hopefully it will fill the time until release.
