Oooh so we are definitely doing 2 games a week now then?

Just noticed that I had a win in my friendly game at the start of the season 4-2 against a top flight side, now a decent 2-1 win on the opening day of the season... should be a good season all things going to plan :)

I was going to apologise for the injuries until you beat me on my own turf. In the 94th minute :mad:!! Especially as I had a narrow miss on 91.

Was fun watching the report of that in real-time :). 1-0 after 2 minutes, with a disallowed goal, and loads of chances, albeit 10-5 in my favour! Annoyed that my new signing came after the game!

haha thanks for the backup big guy! at least someone sees what I was getting at!

no idea what the hell happened... but the dressing room was a sorry state of affairs afterwards! i was not happy lol...
 
Isnt there a lot of people who are still inactive?

Btw the transfer system can F off, having such difficulty in finding a good buy rather than spending over what they are worth :/
 
Trying to compete with people who have been playing multiple seasons and have cash to burn is not easy, and unless you get lucky with youth talent its pretty hard to find good players, its basically a sellers market.
 
I don't think it's hard to find good players at all. If you're long sensible about your expectations, or like some go the risky route and buying older players hoping they don't retire at the end of the season.
 
I've inactivated a few managers that haven't been online since October so there are a few teams up for grabs if any new players want to take them over.
 
bah i haven't started with so many on 1 or 2 bars before!

and damn gilly - i haven't been around for a while but i don't remember you having nearly 67k posts!!
