Another ****ing injury

I put the kids/reserves out against Wormy City and they got a 3-2 away from home. Not bad going given Wormy's recent record.

Play 'bruise' and give him a good kicking in the second leg.

(This advice is totally unrelated to the fact that I've got play wormy twice in sucession immediately after the second leg)

Yeah that was almost my best team but my star player picked up an injury in training a couple days before the match. Considering the team you put out I would have hoped for a better lead going into the 2nd leg. I don't think the one goal is going to be enough.

You never know. A draw isn't beyond anyone in this game. There's too much randomness to know with any certaincy.

Completely forgot is was 2 legged, pretty sure i can overcome a 1 goal deficit with an away goal.

Same here :o

2-1 loss at home.

I didn't completely prepare my side either... I forgot to check the formation to prepare for :(

Quietly confident that I can get an away goal or two though.

Lost 4-1 at home. 4 defeats on the trot now. What the hell is going wrong?

My defence has been awful recently but I have a good group of young well skilled (imo) defenders.

Done much training? Are you prepared for the games?

If your not training, no matter how good your players are they'll still find it tough if they're not in good form.

Yeah I make sure that everyones form is kept as high as possible.

I prepare for the games in that I pick my team, set my tactics how I want, spy out the other team a bit etc.

I expected to loe last night anyway as they were in the top division, but looking at the players they aren't much better than mine. So to lose 4-1 at home was a bit annoying.

hmm 9-0 win over the 2 legs :D easy passage through in the cup.

When will the next fixtures be played?
Any 'giant killings' happen this round?

Bah, so much for trying to use tactics in this game.

Was 3-1 up from the home leg against stronger opposition so decided to try and play a tight game in the second leg and managed to lose 3-0.

Oh and my best defender managed to get himself suspended with a couple of crucial league games coming up.

DAMMIT

I forgot to set my tactics up :( Playing Bruise and Cheating against a ref with a skill of 9

Wormy squeaked past with a 5-4 win on aggregate. Good luck in the rest of the competition.

Does 3 yellow cards equate to a suspension? I thought it was 5

[edit]Yeah its three. Blummin ummer!
