As you can see from the spirit level it it is a bit wonky but pushing my 23" Lg IPS monitor up against it seems to straighten it up. My LG, which is an e-IPS monitor does not come close to the great colours that the catleap has. I just watched a few 1080p video clips I have and WOW this thing is better than my Panasonic plasma. The black plastic on the back of the monitor is really cheap looking and in fact is that type of plastic that has swirls in it with dark grey/black colour and the grey plastic arch is really cheap and you can bend it a bit (i aint gonna see the back so i am not bothered about it). The stand for this monitor makes the screen really high so i think sometime in the future I will take this thing apart, remove the stand and the grey/silver arch from the back and put it on a vesa mount stand (it does have VESA holes behind the arch). The one thing i was keeping my fingers crossed for was no backlight bleed like my LG monitor does in one corner but there is no sign of any bleed at all.

This has been (so far) my best ever monitor purchase. Now I am off to the battlefield to see if my 6950 will struggle.

glen8, Lol. I have not actually owned that many monitors

19" Hanns-G TN panel(1440x900)
24" DGM MVA panel(1920x1200)
23" LG e-IPS (1920x1080)
27" Catleap S-IPS (2560x1440)

And that is over about 9 years (I may actually have another 24" DGM on it's way to me soon as another forum member said he may send it to me for free, 1920x1200 will match the 27" better than a 1080p screen as second monitor). I will have to keep my LG 23" because i can't connect my PS3 to the catleap (unless it works with a HDMI - DVI-D cable)

Azza - this is what i had on my parcel tracking

ARRIVED AT DHL FACILITY

When the DHL guy handed me the monitor he said "you have some VAT/Duty to pay" I told him I paid over the phone on Saturday so he asked me for the number the guy on the phone gave me. I don't think that the tracker updates with the payment of duty. As soon as he got in his van I got an e-mail to say it had been delivered.

Ah okay that's cool. Just wanted to make sure, so I don't end up ringing round tomorrow telling people that I've paid already! I'll be sitting in all day any way waiting for lots of deliveries.

I'm so jealous of this monitor as I would have jumped all over this if I hadn't already gone down the 120hz route. I currently have 2x LG W2363D's and just reading this thread has tempted me to get rid of them for one of these, but I don't think I could go back to < 120hz for gaming.

How many of you are running at 100hz?

Does anyone know if the newer 2D serial number Yamakasi Catleaps can do pixel doubling to support a 720p input signal from an xbox or ps3?
According to this (http://75.126.99.220/showpost.php?p=1038558593&postcount=1369) the 2C model can but I haven't found anyone who has tested it on a 2D.

I, quickly, earlier tried plugging the HDMI cable into an HDMI-DVI adaptor (the adaptor does not have all the pins that a DVI-D cable has) but the PS3 was set to 720p and I did not get a picture. So either the adaptor is rubbish or the 2D's do not scale a 720p input. :(
