Was there a breakdown of the different versions available, can't remember if I saw it here or another forum.
AS above just looking for DVI connection really, altho I can use DP or HDMI if req'd.
No Glass, Standard black housing and easy to attach a VESA mount.

arrived today, not set it up properly yet but OMG it's HUGE!
How far are you guys sitting from the 27" screens? I'm about two feet away, dunno if it's too close or not but 1080p at this distance at full screen doesn't seem too good, but if i go back a few more feet it's fine.
I have a feeling this might end up being just a bit too big for me but interested to know peoples opinions on this matter.

1080p will look awful compared to 1440p. HD films are just not HD enough for the screen...But at a closer distance would they look better compared to the 27"?
I'm considering selling this one if the 24" can do so at 1920*1080 res, it's 3" smaller but I'm coming from a 22" 2233rz so I think I'd be able to adapt to that. It's just a question of whether anyone would have a genuine interest in the uk of buying this in the MM?

To me the 27" @ 2560x1440 is considerably better than any 1080p display I have seen or owned especially when close.
If you are viewing 1080p material then it will not look it's best as it is being scaled. It would be the same as running 720p material on a 1080p display.
Google some 1440p videos I found one that was filmed by apple to showcase the 1440p res. It is simply mind numbingly good.
Yeah I thought that too, I think some adjustments will have to be made because the panel itself is amazing, I've readjusted my desk a bit so im about 25-30" away from the screen now and it's better to my eyes now.

I take delivery of a Dell E-IPS tomorrow at work, looking forward to a bit of a comparison between that and the catleap
I have a pair of U2711's sat in the boxes here. I'm so tempted to set one up and have a look.
