Yamakasi Catleap 27" 100mhz IPS

My Catleap will run at 120Hz (allegedly) with my new GTX670.

Fraps reports 120Hz when in games with vsync on, and on the desktop when objects are moved rapidly, and windows control panel, powerstrip etc all report 120Hz as being the refresh rate.

As, to my untrained naked eye I can't tell the difference between 60Hz and 120Hz I couldn't really care less

Your monitor still going strong after the fix Moogleys? I'm glad to say the problems I was having have been rectified since I got my new graphics card so I reckon it was down to using the 5750 causing the slight issues.

Ahhh Skyrim at 2560*1440 is no nice

Well got mine today and running at 100hz on my 560ti

loving it as no dead pixels on this one

just gotta wait for a 670/680 before I can go to 120hz.

I have an overclocked GTX 580, any idea what kind of hz I'd get?

I'm pretty sure only the 680/670 can get above the 400mhz pixel clock which is needed to go past 100hz. Your best checking the 120hz site for what others are able to do.

You don't have trust setup so can't fella, but if you google "yamakasi q270 sale information" you should find it straight away. There will be another batch of 100 released soon.

That would be any and all non-OCUK sites then! LOL. After asking for a PM I went to look for my inbox and can't for the life of me find it. I'm an OCUK forum newb. Does such a thing exist here?

My catleap oc edition is running perfect! no dead pixels and no/minimal light bleed from what I can see!

Good luck mate, the worst thing that could happen is DOA or massive cluster of dead pixles in the centre of the screen

I can live with the odd dead pixel etc, just plz not in the centre lol

Aye. Customs disagreed with the sellers valuation (he put down $110) and valued it instead at £209.

I had mine down as $110 too and I paid £13 but then again that was the Glasgow branch so the bloke who checked was probably still wasted from the night before and couldn't give a rat's a**e what was in the box

Also it's a bit scary that they were spot on with their valuation
