Had been looking at replacing my Dell 2405 as its starting to show it's age from when they first came out!
So after following this thread on and off I've put my name down on one of the 120hz models to see what the fuss is all about; to be fair even at a "premimum" of paying slightly extra - I don't mind waiting as I'm still in the middle of building. Want not need ;)

On face value from here and other places I would still say they're still a steal and to be honest even if I get just 2-3 years use out of it the cost per year is negligible to the point of being disposable.

As an echo to Phunky; Green-Sum has a waiting list in progress on the "120hz - 2b" Catleaps.

Well i just couldn't resist anymore and ordered a '*Perfect Pixel -New 3VIEW PCBANK PB2700 27" LED 2560X1440 S-IPS Computer Monitor'

Price was just over £190, too good to let go. Not into gaming so this will hopefully do. Also agreeded with the seller to purchase an extra psu for $10 :D hopefully wouldn't need to be used.

Now its that waiting game - going to drive me nuts over the weekend for the wait

You've just sold it to me, you working on commission?

Do you know if these are gloss or matt screens?

EDIT: screw it ordered

Please don't blame me if you are not happy :D But judging by this thread i'm sure it was the right decision.

Screen should be glossy and i just couldn't resist anymore :) Was going to wait till the end of the month to get my £25 paypal voucher off ebay to use on a monitor, but the wait was too long lol

Hi all

Im looking at these and just wanted to know which is best the Yamakasi Catleap Q270 SE or the PCBank PB2700...?

Would be moving from a NEC MultiSync 20WGX2....would this be a good idea?

It's mostly down to the design of the bezel and the stand in terms of what you like the look of really. The panels are the same.

I have a PCBANK one and it's lovely :) (OK the panel is lovely, but the bezel isn't that bad and looks kinda like a Samsung TV ish)

A tip for anyone ordering one of these. Order from a seller who uses FedEx door-to-door.
If it ends up in the hands of Parcelforce, you will almost certainly encounter delays/customs charges.

Wish i knew this before i brought one on thursday. Mines using DHL based on the tracking number i was given in ebay , but tracking doesn't work on DHL :( So i presume its waiting to be picked up on Monday in Korea :(

just had an email to tell me that its their national holiday on monday so its another day delay :( \i really hope the wait is worth it. Also i'm like a new kid, being so impatient for a new toy lol

My 2B catleap just arrived, doesnt appear to have any dead pixels, just had a quick look.

I honestly wish I had never bought it.....

Now I want a 2nd :(

EDIT;
Just sitting trying random wallpapers, jesus wept its liek someone turned on the light that was never there before.
Looks so good.
Got a color calibrator upstairs is it worth fiddling?

Haha :) there are a few color profiles on 120hz.net but if you have a calibrator it would prob be best to at least give it a whirl.

I'm happy with a single, although I have owned two now :) just trying to hold out on buying a new gfx card as my 560ti can just about run most games at 100fps+ just!
